First Commercial Flight Operations at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport After Revitalization Runs Smoothly and Succeeds Thanks to the Collaboration of All Parties

Jakarta - Halim Perdanakusuma Airport will be reopened for commercial flights starting today, Thursday 1 September 2022, after revitalization.

On the first day of this commercial flight, PT Angkasa Pura II as the operator of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport noted that flight operations and services to aircraft passengers in general went well and smoothly.

AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the success of this commercial flight operation was thanks to the collaboration and support from all parties, including the wider community.

"The collaboration of all parties is the key to success. Thank you for the good collaboration from all parties including the Indonesian Air Force, Ministry of Transportation, ATS as manager of land asset utilization, AP II as airport manager, AirNav, KKP Ministry of Health and of course thanks to the support from airplane passengers and the wider community."

"All personnel both from AP II and the airline have carried out their duties well. Likewise with the aspects of facilities for security, safety and services that function well. The revitalization of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport carried out by the Ministry of Transportation also greatly supports flight operations and services to aircraft passengers. "said Muhammad Awaluddin.

The revitalization carried out on the air side touches, among others, the runway and apron, while the revitalization on the land side is carried out at the aircraft passenger terminal. Revitalization strongly supports flight operations and improves passenger comfort.

Executive General Manager of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport Marsma TNI Nandang Sukarna explained that there were 4 commercial flights at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport on September 1, 2022, namely 4 flights (take off and landing) Citilink airline.

The routes served by Citilink on today's flights at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport include from and to Denpasar and Surabaya.

"Today's total commercial flights are 4 flights. In general, the first day of operations at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in serving commercial flights after the revitalization was carried out went smoothly."
