AP II Informs PSC Adjustment at 5 Airports

15 Jul 2022

Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II continuously improves facilities and services at all airports managed by the company.

"The improvement in facilities and services is carried out as an effort by AP II to provide the best customer experience and seamless journey experience for airplane passengers," said VP of Corporate Communication of AP II Akbar Putra Mardhika.

The following are developments carried out at AP II airport:
1. Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang)
AP II is revitalizing Terminal 2 to increase the capacity from 9 million passengers/year to 18 million passengers/year. This capacity increase was followed by an increase in facilities and services for the convenience of airplane passengers, such as Virtual Customer Assistant (VICA), modernization or rejuvenation of a number of service support facilities for passengers, such as replacement of aerobridges, opening of public facilities such as kidzone and rest areas, as well as renovation of public facilities and worship facilities.

AP II built Terminal 3 as the largest terminal in Indonesia with a capacity of 25 million passengers/year, equipped with modern facilities and the use of the latest technology.

Terminals 1, 2 and 3 as well as the Airport Train Station are well integrated through the elevated train (Skytrain), which is a rail-based mode to facilitate the mobility of people.

2. Kualanamu Airport (Deli Serdang)
Kualanamu Airport has continuously made improvements, which since 2019 include facilities to support airport train operations, implementation of smart airport facilities, renovation of public facilities, and adjustment of facilities in the midst of a pandemic.

3. Fatmawati Soekarno Airport (Bengkulu), Radin Inten II Airport (Lampung), HAS Hanandjoeddin Airport (Belitung)
AP II has managed these three airports since 2019 and immediately improved facilities and services in commercial areas, public facilities, worship facilities, supporting flight service facilities such as FIDS, garbarata, land transportation facilities, as well as other facilities and infrastructure for the convenience of passengers at the terminal.

VP of Corporate Communications AP II Akbar Putra Mardhika said AP II will adjust the PJP2U (Aircraft Passenger Service) tariff, also known as the Passenger Service Charge (PSC) at these airports, which has been around for 2-6 years without any adjustment.

"We convey to prospective aircraft passengers and service users that AP II will make PSC adjustments starting August 1, 2022 at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Kualanamu Airport, Fatmawati Soekarno Airport, Radin Inten II Airport and HAS Hanandjoeddin Airport."

"The PSC at the airport has not been adjusted for 2-6 years, and adjustments can be made considering the improvement in facilities and services that have been carried out," said Akbar Putra Mardhika.
