Besides the Booster Vaccination Center, AP II Airport Also Ensures the Readiness of the PCR & Antigen Test Locations to Support the Implementation of New Travel Terms Starting July 17, 2022

Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II ensures the readiness of the airports it manages to support the implementation of the latest regulations for Domestic Travel Actors (PPDN) starting July 17, 2022 according to the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation Number 70/2022.

AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said that all AP II airports in the midst of this pandemic already have operational resilience (resilience operations), adapt quickly (agility operations) and focus on lean operations so that they are able to meet every applicable regulation.

"In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, regulations are very dynamic for better handling of the pandemic. AP II prepares all managed airports to have resilience operations, agility operations and lean operations so that they can quickly adjust and implement various existing regulations."

"Starting July 17, 2022, AP II airport is also ready to implement the latest domestic route travel regulations according to the SE of the Ministry of Transportation Number 70/2022. The focus of AP II airports in supporting the implementation of this regulation includes the readiness of booster vaccination centers, and the Airport Health Center as locations for RT-PCR tests and/or rapid antigen tests."

Meanwhile, AP II airports currently operate two facilities, namely a booster vaccination center and an Airport Health Center, such as Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang).

The Airport Health Centers that provide RT-PCR tests and rapid antigen tests are at Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Kualanamu Airport. Meanwhile, Airport Health Centers at other airports provide rapid antigen test services.

VP of Corporate Communications AP II Akbar Putra Mardhika said that Airport Health Center operations are supported by service providers who have the ability to perform RT-PCR tests and/or rapid antigen tests.

"Currently there are AP II airports that always open Airport Health Center services, and there are a number of airports that will reactivate the service, for example on July 14, 2022 there will be 12 airports that will reactivate the Airport Health Center. What is clear, we make sure all airports are ready with Airport Health Center before July 17, 2022."

"We ensured that the RT-PCR and/or rapid antigen test service providers at the Airport Health Center of AP II airport that the service rates must be in accordance with the SE Director General of Health Services of the Ministry of Health, namely the PCR rate at airports located in Java is IDR 275,000 and outside Java IDR 300,000. Meanwhile, the tariff for the antigen test is IDR 85,000," explained Akbar Putra Mardhika.

As is known, starting July 17, 2022, new regulations for Domestic Travel Actors (PPDN) will be enforced according to the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation Number 70/2022.

The SE includes a number of travel requirements for PPDN in the midst of a pandemic, including PPDN or domestic flight passengers who have received a third dose of vaccination (booster) are not required to take a PCR or antigen test while traveling.

If you have just received the second dose of vaccination, you must show a negative result of the rapid antigen test whose sample was taken within 1x24 hours before departure or RT-PCR whose sample was taken within 3x24 hours before departure.

Meanwhile, if the PPDN has just received the first dose of vaccination, it must show a negative RT-PCR result whose sample was taken within 3x24 hours before departure.

AP II currently manages 20 airports, namely Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta), Kualanamu (Deli Serdang), Supadio (Pontianak), Minangkabau (Padang), Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Husein Sastranegara (Bandung), Sultan Iskandar Muda (Banda Aceh), Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjungpinang), Sultan Thaha (Jambi), Depati Amir (Pangkal Pinang), Silangit (North Tapanuli), Kertajati (Majalengka), Banyuwangi (Banyuwangi), Tjilik Riwut (Palangkaraya), Radin Inten II (Lampung), H.A.S Hanandjoeddin (Tanjung Pandan), Fatmawati Soekarno (Bengkulu), and General Besar Soedirman (Purbalingga).
