AP II Airport opens booster vaccination center for airplane passengers

Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II Airport starting July 17, 2022, applies the latest regulations regarding Domestic Travel Actors (PPDN) and Foreign Travel Actors (PPLN).

This is in line with the Decree of the Ministry of Transportation Number 70/2022 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Domestic Travel by Air Transportation During the COVID-19 Pandemic, and the SE Ministry of Transportation Number 71/2022 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Overseas Travel by Air Transportation During the COVID-19 Pandemic. 19.

"AP II as the manager of 20 airports has coordinated with all stakeholders to enforce the latest regulations starting July 17, 2022 according to the SE of the Ministry of Transportation for passengers on domestic routes and international routes. AP II together with stakeholders will also support passengers so that they can carry out this latest regulation well and smoothly," said VP of Corporate Communications AP II Akbar Putra Mardhika.

In accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Transportation Number 70/2022, starting July 17, 2022, PPDN or passengers on domestic routes who have received a third dose of vaccination (booster) are not required to take a PCR or antigen test while traveling.

If the PPDN has just received a second dose of vaccination, it is required to show a negative result of the rapid antigen test whose sample was taken within 1x24 hours before departure or RT-PCR whose sample was taken within 3x24 hours before departure.

Meanwhile, if the PPDN has just received the first dose of vaccination, it must show a negative RT-PCR result whose sample was taken within 3x24 hours before departure.

As for PPDN aged 6-17 years, showing a second dose of vaccination certificate and is not required to perform RT-PCR or antigen. For those aged less than 6 years, no vaccination is required and no test is required. For PPDN who cannot undergo vaccination due to special health conditions, must attach a certificate. Booster vaccination center at AP II airport
Akbar Putra Mardhika said that AP II airport had opened a special third dose (booster) vaccination center and provided locations for RT-PCR and antigen tests.

"Through booster vaccination centers at all AP II airports, we hope that passengers can fulfill regulations well. We also hope that the booster vaccination center at AP II airport can help push the booster vaccination rate in Indonesia to support the handling of COVID-19," explained Akbar Putra Mardhika.

AP II airports that have opened booster vaccination centers include Soekarno-Hatta Airport which is the largest and busiest airport in Indonesia.

Soekarno-Hatta Airport opens 3 booster vaccination centers, namely Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3 which are open every day starting at 08.00 - 16.00 WIB.

Other AP II airports that have also opened booster vaccination centers are Kualanamu Airport (Deli Serdang), Supadio (Pontianak), Minangkabau (Padang), Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Husein Sastranegara (Bandung), Sultan Iskandar Muda (Banda Aceh), Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjungpinang), Sultan Thaha (Jambi), Depati Amir (Pangkal Pinang), Silangit (North Tapanuli), Banyuwangi (Banyuwangi), Tjilik Riwut (Palangkaraya), Radin Inten II (Lampung) ), H.A.S Hanandjoeddin (Tanjung Pandan).

Overseas trip
Meanwhile, for Foreign Travel Actors (PPLN) or passengers on international routes, all AP II airports also apply the latest regulations according to the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation Number 71/2022.

A number of regulations that will be enforced starting July 17, 2022 for PPLN, among others, for PPLN citizens who have not received vaccinations will be vaccinated at the entry point after a symptom check is carried out at the entry point upon arrival or at the quarantine place after RT-PCR is carried out on the 4th day of quarantine with negative results. .

For PPLNs who have not been vaccinated or have just received the first dose of vaccination at least 14 days before departure, they will undergo quarantine for 5x24 hours upon arrival in Indonesia. For PPLN who have undergone the second or third dose of vaccination at least 14 days before departure, they are allowed to continue the journey.

As for Indonesian citizens aged 18 years and over and wishing to travel abroad, they are required to show a certificate of vaccination for the third dose. Exceptions for PPLN Indonesian citizens with special health conditions (comorbid) and who have been declared inactive to transmit COVID-19.

"AP II together with stakeholders including the COVID-19 Task Force, the Ministry of Health's KKP and airlines will ensure that regulations related to PPLN and PPDN are implemented properly," said Akbar Putra Mardhika.
