Jakarta - All stakeholders at Soekarno-Hatta Airport are considered to be able to maintain service and operational standards well in the midst of high flight traffic in the 2022 Eid transportation period.

Muhammad Awaluddin said AP II as the airport manager carried out close coordination with all stakeholders including airlines, ground handling operators, AirNAv Indonesia, TNI and Polri, Airport Authority, Customs and Excise, Immigration and Quarantine.

"At the peak of the return flow on May 7-8, all stakeholders carried out super tight coordination to ensure smooth Eid transportation. Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Chief Kombes Sigit Dany Setiyono assessed that the coordination of all stakeholders was able to realize the smoothness of Eid transportation at Soekarno-Hatta Airport even though flight traffic was very high, especially at the peak of return flows.

"Currently the situation at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is in a safe and conducive condition. The increase in the number of flights is well managed. Coordination was carried out by the Air Task Force for Handling COVID-19, the TNI, Polri, airlines, as well as providing health services, booster vaccinations, rest facilities. So far, nothing serious has happened. Technical and non-technical matters are mapped and well prepared. God willing, we can do a good service,” said Kombes Sigit Dany Setiyono.

Head of the Main Service Office of Customs and Excise at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Finari Manan, said that the good synergy made the international arrival process run smoothly at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

“International arrivals have increased. Usually 30 - 44 international arrival flights per day, increasing today to 55 international arrivals. The arrival of international passengers has been handled well because of the synergy and cooperation between the Soekarno-Hatta Airport community and the full support of the Minister of Transportation," explained Finari Manan.
