AP II Airport opens booster vaccination center
Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II, the manager of 20 airports in Indonesia, is making preparations to support the smooth transportation of Eid 2022.
The Lebaran transportation period at AP II airport is planned for 22 days, from April 22 to May 13, 2022.
AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the Lebaran Transportation period was the full attention of AP II and stakeholders.
"Airline traffic is estimated to increase due to the enthusiasm of the community to go home so that more focus is needed from all stakeholders to maintain service, security and safety standards. AP II focuses on structuring 3 aspects, which are currently being carried out, namely aspects of airport personnel, airport operations and flight systems," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
Muhammad Awaluddin explained that the arrangement of airport personnel including assignments, working hours, and various other information can be done easily and quickly through the internal iPerform application.
During the 2022 Lebaran Transport, AP II has prepared around 5,500 personnel at 20 airports serving as Airport Rescue & Fire Fighting, Apron Movement Control, Aviation Security, TNI & Polri BKO, Customer Service, Terminal Inspection Services, Airport Operation Control, Medical Service and others. etc.
At Soekarno-Hatta Airport, which is the anchor airport for domestic flights, the flight system arrangement is carried out through the implementation of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) in order to maintain optimal aircraft movement.
Meanwhile, the operational arrangement of Soekarno-Hatta Airport is carried out through the Airport Operation Control Center (AOCC) and Airport Infrastructure Control Center (AICC) which are supported by the latest digital devices.
"AP II airports are equipped with digital infrastructure so they can quickly adapt to the current situation in the midst of a pandemic. When flight traffic increases, we can quickly make various preparations," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
As part of structuring operational aspects at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, starting April 2022, Terminal 1 will be reactivated to serve flights.
"Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 are active, which will support the smooth Lebaran transportation and health protocols," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
Muhammad Awaluddin revealed that the number of aircraft and passenger movements on Eid Transport 2022 will increase compared to normal days, but is estimated to be still lower than the Lebaran Transport period under normal conditions, namely in 2018 and 2019.
"We remain focused on making sure everything runs smoothly," explained Muhammad Awaluddin.
Director of Operations AP II Muhamad Wasid said the company is also preparing Eid 2022 Transportation Command Posts at all airports.
"The Lebaran Transport Post was opened on April 22 - May 13, 2022 as a coordination forum for all airport stakeholders including the COVID-19 Task Force, Airport Authority, AP II as airport operator, airlines, quarantine, immigration, customs and excise, TNI, Polri, and the government. local area. The personnel will ensure the implementation of flight requirements for prospective passengers," said Muhamad Wasid.
Currently, AP II airport has also implemented flight requirements in accordance with Circular Letter Number SE 36 of 2022 which is valid from April 5, 2022, in which these requirements include:
- Domestic travellers (PPDN) who are vaccinated against the third dose or booster are not required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test;
- PPDN who are vaccinated with the second dose must show a negative result of the rapid antigen test, whose sample is taken within 1 x 24 hours or a negative result of the RT-PCR test, whose sample is taken within 3 x 24 hours before departure
- PPDN who are vaccinated with the first dose, must show a negative result of the RT-PCR test, whose sample is taken within 3 x 24 hours before departure.
In order to support the implementation of flight requirements in accordance with SE 36/2022, AP II airport in coordination with the Ministry of Health's KKP and other parties such as airlines will gradually open booster vaccination centers for prospective Lebaran transport passengers.
Currently, airports that have opened booster vaccination centers include Minangkabau Airport (Padang), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Sultan Iskandar Muda (Aceh), Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjung Pinang), and other airports will follow.
