Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Raja Haji Fisabillah Airport Apply Provisions of SE Ministry of Transportation Number 33/2022

Jakarta - Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang) and Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport (Tanjung Pinang) as airports designated as entry points for foreign arrivals enforce the provisions in the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation Number 33 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Overseas Travel by Air Transportation in The Period of the COVID-19 Pandemic published on March 24, 2022.

According to the SE of the Ministry of Transportation Number 33/2022, the requirements that must be met by PPLN arriving in Indonesia include showing a negative RT-PCR result from the country of origin a maximum of 2x24 hours before departure, showing a second dose of vaccine card at least 14 days before departure, then undergoing an RT-test. PCR on arrival and waiting for the results of the test in the hotel room, room at the accommodation or residence.

If the results of the RT-PCR on arrival show negative results, then for PPLNs who have received the second or third dose of vaccine at least 14 days before departure, they are allowed to continue their journey.

As for PPLNs who have not received the vaccine, they will be vaccinated at the arrival entry point, after first RT-PCR with negative results. PPLNs who have not received vaccinations or have received the first dose of vaccine are required to undergo a 5x24 hour quarantine.

VP of Corporate Communications PT Angkasa Pura II Hufron Kurniadi said Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport had implemented the provisions in the SE Ministry of Transportation Number 33/2022.

"Coordination is carried out with relevant stakeholders at Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport to ensure that the provisions in the SE Ministry of Transportation Number 33/2022 can be implemented properly."

"AP II together with airlines, the Ministry of Health's KKP, the COVID-19 Handling Task Force and the TNI/Polri are coordinating to properly implement the provisions in the SE Ministry of Transportation Number 33/2022," explained Hufron Kurniadi.

Furthermore, Hufron Kurniadi said AP II together with stakeholders are also trying to implement health protocols well at all company airports, including Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport.

"AP II reminds that maintaining distance, using masks, and washing hands frequently are disciplines that must be implemented at all airports," explained Hufron Kurniadi.
