AP II Airports Apply Provisions in SE Kemenhub Number 21/2022

Domestic flight passengers who have been vaccinated twice or three times (booster) can travel without being required to show the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test

Jakarta - All airports managed by PT Angkasa Pura II apply the regulations in the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation Number 21 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Domestic Travel by Air Transportation During the COVID-19 Pandemic which is effective March 8, 2022.

In accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Transportation Number 21/2022, every passenger on a domestic route that has received a second dose of vaccination or a third dose of vaccination (booster) is not required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test or rapid antigen test.

Domestic route passengers who have received the first dose of vaccination are required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test whose samples were taken within 3x24 hours or rapid antigen tests whose samples were taken within 1x24 hours before departure as a condition of travel.

Meanwhile, passengers on domestic routes with special health conditions or comorbid diseases that prevent travelers from receiving vaccinations are required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR test whose sample is taken 3x24 hours or a rapid antigen test whose sample is taken within a maximum period of 1x24 hours before departure. as a condition of travel and requirements, it is mandatory to attach a doctor's certificate from a government hospital stating that the person concerned has not and/or is unable to take vaccinations.

Meanwhile, passengers on domestic routes under the age of 6 years can travel with a travel companion and implement strict health protocols.

AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said all airports under the management of AP II were ready to implement the latest regulations according to the SE COVID-19 Task Force Number 11/2022.

"AP II together with stakeholders have coordinated to implement the provisions in the SE Ministry of Transportation Number 21/2022."

"All AP II airports have been operating resiliently (resilience operations), adapting quickly (agility operations) and focusing on lean operations so that they are able to meet the dynamics of regulations in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in order to maintain Indonesia's air connectivity," explained Muhammad Awaluddin.

In accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Transportation Number 21/2022, inspection of travel requirements on every passenger on a domestic route is carried out using the PeduliLindung application by each transportation mode operator.

In line with this, prospective passengers on domestic routes can go to the airline's check-in counter to check travel requirements using the PeduliLindung application.

VP of Corporate Communication AP II Hufron Kurniadi added that the health protocols at all AP II airports are still being implemented strictly.

"Health protocols in the midst of the COVID-19 II pandemic continue to be strictly enforced at all AP II airports in accordance with regulations set by the government and strengthened by the application of biosecurity management and biosafety management," explained Hufron Kurniadi.

Hufron Kurniadi added that all security, safety and comfort facilities at all AP II airports are ready to support the smooth implementation of SE Kemenhub Number 21/2022.

"AP II airport personnel and staff are also ready to support the smooth flight and implementation of the provisions in accordance with the SE Ministry of Transportation Number 21/2022."

The airports managed by AP II are Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta), Kualanamu (Deli Serdang), Supadio (Pontianak), Minangkabau (Padang), Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Palembang). Pekanbaru), Husein Sastranegara (Bandung), Sultan Iskandar Muda (Banda Aceh), Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjungpinang), Sultan Thaha (Jambi), Depati Amir (Pangkal Pinang), Silangit (North Tapanuli), Kertajati (Majalengka), Banyuwangi ( Banyuwangi), Tjilik Riwut (Palangkaraya), Radin Inten II (Lampung), HAS Hanandjoeddin (Tanjung Pandan), Fatmawati Soekarno (Bengkulu), and General Besar Soedirman (Purbalingga).
