Jakarta - Soekarno-Hatta Airport welcomed the arrival of G20 delegations from various countries and various financial institutions and global institutions to attend two meetings in Jakarta in the Indonesian Presidency at the G20 2022.
The two meetings are the Finance and Central Bank Deputies (FCBD) meeting on 15-16 February 2022 and the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) meeting on 17-18 February 2022.
The Ministry of Finance informed that a total of 169 delegates from various countries who were physically present at the two meetings, while 216 delegates attended the online meeting.
Soekarno-Hatta Airport Executive General Manager Agus Haryadi said the G20 delegation had started arriving at Soekarno-Hatta Airport since February 13, 2022.
"The arrival of the G20 delegation at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on February 13-16, 2022 from various countries. The arrival process went smoothly thanks to the collaboration and support of various parties.”

This hospitality lounge was also established to support the implementation of the travel bubble for the G20 delegates. When the delegates get off the plane, they will go straight to the hospitality lounge to process the inspection of various documents such as immigration and customs documents, then take PCR samples, then head to the hotel.
"In the hospitality lounge, the delegates also filled out a digital form in the HORE (Health Protocol Readiness) application prepared by AP II. The HORE system is also integrated with the PeduliLindung application, so that delegates are expected to experience integrated services by ensuring health protocols and ease of service at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, "explained Agus Haryadi.
Arts and culture from 34 provinces
In order to welcome the arrival of the G20 delegation, Soekarno-Hatta Airport also collaborated with the All-Indonesian Liaison Government Communication Forum (FORKAPPSI) to display and introduce the G20 delegates to various crafts and cultures from 34 provinces in Indonesia.
"We are grateful for FORKAPPSI's support for supporting Soekarno-Hatta Airport in introducing various crafts and cultures from 34 provinces to the G20 delegates. This area to display arts and culture is in the path of arrival of the G20 delegates. The delegates also seemed very interested in seeing the handicrafts from these 34 provinces,” explained Agus Haryadi.
Indonesian crafts and culture that were shown to the G20 delegates at Terminal 3 included various fabrics from regions in Indonesia as well as various native Indonesian handicrafts such as woven bamboo, wood carvings and so on.
Meanwhile, in November 2022, it is also planned that there will be cultural arts performances in the international arrivals area of Terminal 3 to specially welcome the G20 delegates.
"Through collaboration with FORKAPPSI, Soekarno-Hatta Airport carries out its role as a showcase for Indonesian arts and culture in welcoming the G20 delegates. We also strive to always maintain service standards for all airport visitors and airplane passengers, including all G20 delegates," said Agus Haryadi.
Meanwhile, another AP II airport that will also welcome the arrival of the G20 delegation is HAS Hanandjoeddin Airport in Belitung.
Belitung itself is planned to be one of the locations for the G20 delegation meeting on 7 - 9 September 2022.
