AP II Airport serves 900 flights per day for routes from/to Java-Bali, within Java-Bali, and outside Java-Bali
Jakarta - Airports under the management of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) implement the provisions in the Circular Letter of the Minister of Transportation Number 93 of 2021 which will be enforced on October 28, 2021.
President Director of AP II Muhammad Awaluddin said that all airports managed by the company already have resilient operations, adapt quickly (agility operations) and focus on lean operations.
"Through the three main keys, namely resilience operation, agility operation and lean operation, 20 AP II airports can always comply with health protocols and dynamic regulations in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic so that they can continue to operate to maintain air connectivity in the country," Muhammad explained. Meanwhile, based on the SE Minister of Transportation Number 93/2021, airplane passengers must meet the following conditions:
- For flights from or to airports in Java and Bali, it is mandatory to show a vaccine card (at least the first dose of vaccination) and a certificate of negative RT-PCR test results whose samples were taken within a maximum of 3x24 hours before departure.
- For flights between airports in Java and Bali, show a vaccine card (at least the first dose of vaccination) and a certificate of negative RT-PCR test results whose samples were taken within a maximum of 3x24 hours before departure
- For flights between airports in Java and Bali, it is mandatory to show a vaccine card
(minimum first dose) and a certificate of negative RT-PCR test results whose samples were taken within a maximum period of 3x24 hours or negative results of rapid antigen tests whose samples were taken within a maximum period of 1x24 hours before departure
AP II manages 6 airports in Java, namely Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta), Husein Sastranegara (Bandung), Kertajati (Majalengka), General Besar Sudirman (Purbalingga), and Banyuwangi (Banyuwangi).

Muhammad Awaluddin said that currently there are 20 airports in AP II spread across Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan serving about 900 flights per day.
"Of this amount, around 70% are flights from/to Java-Bali, then 16% are flights within Java-Bali and about 14% are flights outside Java-Bali."
Meanwhile, for the number of passengers, 73% are passengers for flights from/to Java-Bali, then 21% are passengers for flights within Java-Bali, and 6% are passengers outside Java-Bali.
In order to support flights from/to Java-Bali, within Java-Bali, and outside Java-Bali, AP II operates an Airport Health Center as an alternative choice for passengers to carry out RT-PCR tests or rapid antigen tests.
