Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) airports starting October 24, 2021, will impose new provisions for passengers on domestic routes in accordance with the Circular Letter of the Minister of Transportation Number 88 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Domestic Travel by Air Transportation During the COVID-19 Pandemic. .
In accordance with the SE Number 88/2021, provisions regarding COVID-19 tests are stipulated as a condition of travel.
"Starting October 24, 2021, new provisions will be applied to strengthen health protocols for passengers on domestic routes during the COVID-19 pandemic. AP II together with stakeholders are committed to carrying out this provision properly," said Yado Yarismano.
SE Minister of Transportation Number 88/2021 stipulates that flights from or to airports in Java and Bali, between cities in Java and Bali, as well as areas designated through the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs as PPKM Level 4 and Level 3 categories must show a vaccine card at least the first dose and a certificate of negative RT-PCR results whose samples were taken 2x24 hours before departure.
"In line with this provision, prospective passengers to and from airports under the management of AP II located in Java, namely Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta), Husein Sastranegara (Bandung), Kertajati (Majalengka), General Soedirman (Pubalingga) and Banyuwangi, were asked to carry out an RT-PCR test according to the provisions and at least have undergone the first dose of vaccination, "said Yado Yarismano.
Meanwhile, for flights from and to airports outside Java and Bali which are determined through the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs as areas with PPKM Level 1 and Level 2 categories, must show a certificate of negative RT-PCR results whose samples are taken a maximum of 2x24 hours or negative results rapid test antigen whose samples are taken a maximum of 1x24 hours before departure.
Airports managed by AP II outside Java and Bali are: Kualanamu (Medan), Supadio (Pontianak), Minangkabau (Padang), Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Sultan Iskandar Muda (Banda Aceh) , Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjungpinang), Sultan Thaha (Jambi), Depati Amir (Pangkal Pinang), Silangit (North Tapanuli), Tjilik Riwut (Palangkaraya), Radin Inten II (Lampung), HAS Hanandjoeddin (Tanjung Pandan), Fatmawati Soekarno ( Bangalore).
Yado Yarismano said that SE Menhub Number 88/2021 also allowed domestic travel by children under the age of 12 to be accompanied by their parents/family as evidenced by a Family Card, and to fulfill the COVID-19 test as required.
"Checking the results of the RT-PCR and rapid antigen tests at the AP II airport was carried out by personnel from the Ministry of Health's Port Health Office (KKP). In accordance with SE Menhub Number 88/2021, we also urge passengers to use the PeduliLindung application to process departures," Yado Yarismano explained.
As is known, prospective airplane passengers who carry out RT-PCR or rapid antigen tests in laboratories that have been integrated with the Ministry of Health's New All Record (NAR) will immediately receive the test results in the PeduliLindung application.
