Jakarta - Soekarno-Hatta Airport has again opened a COVID-19 vaccination center for airplane passengers and the general public.
From September 9 to October 6, 2021, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), the TNI Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS TNI), and the Soekarno-Hatta Class I KKP opened a vaccination center for Terminal 1 Soekarno-Hatta Airport with a target of being able to provide vaccinations for 20,000 person.
Airplane passengers and the general public who wish to vaccinate at these locations can register online via https://bit.ly/GIATVAKSINASI.
Vaccination is opened for participants 12 years and over using Sinovac (complete personal data with a Family Card), and participants aged 18 years and over using Moderna. For pregnant women, please bring a certificate of obstetrician for gestational age.
Vaccinations are also carried out for the first and second doses. The Moderna is used only for the first dose.
President Director of AP II Muhammad Awaluddin said the vaccination center initiated by BAIS is a form of good collaboration between stakeholders to support the national vaccination acceleration program.
"AP II strongly supports the acceleration of the national vaccination program launched by the government, and in line with that we are very grateful to BAIS TNI for initiating the opening of the Terminal 1 vaccination center at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on September 9 - October 6 2021, which is also fully supported by the Office of the Republic of Indonesia. “Terminal 1 is temporarily not serving flights, so it can be fully used as a vaccination center for airplane passengers and the general public, which was initiated by BAIS for 28 days. With a fairly large vaccination location, we will ensure that the implementation meets health protocols, is orderly, organized, and does not overcrowd," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
The arrangement of the area at the vaccination location has been carried out, namely for the waiting room, then the pre-screening and screening area for vaccination recipients, then vaccination, and then observation.
Head of BAIS TNI Lt. Gen. Joni Supriyanto said that the Soekarno-Hatta Airport vaccination center is expected to support the acceleration of the national vaccination program.
“BAIS TNI supports the acceleration of the national vaccination program by opening vaccination centers in various locations, one of which is Terminal 1 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Synergy is very important for us to jointly face the COVID-19 pandemic," said TNI Lieutenant General Joni Supriyanto.
Soekarno-Hatta Airport Executive General Manager Agus Haryadi said that currently there are 3 vaccination centers in 3 terminals.
“Vaccination can be carried out at Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 for airplane passengers. Meanwhile, for the general public, vaccination is carried out at Terminal 1,” explained Agus Haryadi.
Total vaccinations at AP II airport
As for the period from 3 July to 8 September 2021, the total number of people who have carried out vaccinations at 18 AP II airports reached 111,884 people.
The most vaccinations were carried out at Soekarno-Hatta Airport reaching 64,702 people, then Halim Perdanakusuma Airport (Jakarta) reaching 6,477 people, Husein Sastranegara Airport (Bandung) reaching 6,091 people, Kualanamu Airport (Deli Serdang) reaching 6,063 people, and Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport. (Palembang) reached 5,926 people.
