In order to strengthen Biosecurity Management, Soekarno-Hatta Airport now requires prospective airplane passengers to use the PeduliLindung application to process flight departures. The Biosafety Management System is carried out with a number of programs to strengthen biohazard precautions (prevention and protection from viruses), environment screening (keeping the environment clean), infrastructure sterilization (periodic sterilization in every corner), and public health assurance (focusing on public health aspects).

The implementation of Biosafety Management includes the Safety From Hazard Intervention and Ensuring Less of Disease (Shield) program, which also assigns Shield Inspector personnel to ensure the program runs according to standards.

Soekarno-Hatta Airport is fully supported by the government and various institutions in opening a vaccination center for prospective passengers and the general public. On July 3 - August 8, it was recorded that the number of prospective airplane passengers who underwent vaccination at the vaccination center of Soekarno-Hatta Airport had reached around 40,000 prospective passengers.
