Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) held the Angkasa Pura II Care program, Isoman Lekas ​​Pulih to support the recovery of residents who are undergoing COVID-19 self-isolation at home.

Through this program, AP II has prepared 1,000 aid packages to be sent directly to the homes of residents who are undergoing self-isolation around Soekarno-Hatta Airport (34 sub-districts in the City and Tangerang Regency), as well as in 17 sub-districts in DKI Jakarta, Bogor, Depok and Bekasi. .

The package will be delivered from July 29, 2021 to August 2, 2021.

Each package consists of a multivitamin, 1,000 ml of UHT milk, 250 grams of honey, 100 ml of eucalyptus oil, 50 pcs / 1 box medical masks, and a guide to self-isolation at home.

AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said that the distribution of 1,000 aid packages was part of the company's program to help deal with COVID-19 in the Banten area.

"AP II airports are committed to supporting the health of residents in the midst of this pandemic, both in terms of prevention, handling, and the healing process from COVID-19."

Meanwhile, on July 31, 2021, AP II through the Indonesian Aviation College (STPI) Curug also distributed 250 packages for residents who were self-isolating.

Symbolically, the aid package was distributed by AP II through STPI, coinciding with the opening of the COVID-19 vaccination program at the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug (PPIC), Tangerang, which was organized by the Ministry of Transportation and the Indonesian Air Force for the surrounding community, students over the age of 12, and paratroopers. workers in the transportation sector.

"Coinciding with the opening of the vaccination program held by the Ministry of Transportation and the Indonesian Air Force at PPIC on July 31 - August 1, 2021, the aviation community also distributed social assistance to residents in the context of handling COVID-19. AP II itself was appointed by the Ministry of SOEs as the Regional Coordinator of the Banten Province National Disaster Task Force.

As an effort to accelerate the handling of COVID-19 in Banten, programs that have been carried out by AP II include distributing personal protective equipment (PPE), medicines, vitamins, basic necessities, ambulances, supporting residents' self-isolation, and participating in handling natural disaster locations. as has been done by the AP II Peduli volunteer team in Serang, Lebak, Tangerang City and Regencies and South Tangerang City.

These various COVID-19 relief and handling programs are also fully supported and implemented by AP II's internal employees who are members of the Mount Rimba Laut (Gurila) Disaster Emergency Response Volunteer Team.
