A total of 18 AP II airports have permanent vaccination services to support the acceleration of the national vaccination program
Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) provides support for residents who are undergoing COVID-19 self-isolation at home.
The support was provided, among others, by Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang) and Husein Sastranegara Airport (Bandung).
Meanwhile, Soekarno-Hatta Airport has distributed aid for COVID-19 patients who are self-isolating at home in seven sub-districts, namely Benda, Neglasari, Batu Ceper, Tangerang, Karawaci, Kosambi and Teluk Naga.
AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the company was coordinating closely with each sub-district office to distribute the assistance.
"Soekarno-Hatta Airport Community Development Team coordinates closely with every sub-district office to distribute aid for residents who are self-isolating at home. We hope that this assistance can support the healing process," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
The total aid that has been distributed for self-isolation of COVID-19 patients in seven sub-districts around Soekarno-Hatta Airport consists of 9 items, namely milk (140 cartons), 3 types of vitamins (35 boxes), hand gloves (35 boxes), masks (280 boxes). ), disinfectant (35 jerry cans), hand sanitizer (35 jerry cans), and face shields (70 pcs).
Next week, the last week of July 2021, Soekarno-Hatta Airport will hold a program of 1,000 support packages for COVID-19 self-isolation. The 1,000 packages consist of 1,000 pcs of honey, 1,000 pcs of UHT milk and 1,000 pcs of multivitamins.
Meanwhile, support for residents who are self-isolating is also carried out by AP II in Bandung, where Husein Sastranegara Airport fully supports the Bandung Morals Forum which on 10-14 July 2021 distributed assistance in the form of fast food, vitamins, and PPE to COVID-19 patients. 19 in Bandung Raya who are self-isolating at home.
The Bandung Morals Forum, which consists of various elements of society, established a command post and public kitchen at Husein Sastranegara Airport on July 10-14, 2021.

AP II itself was appointed by the Ministry of SOEs as the Regional Coordinator of the Banten Province National Disaster Task Force.
As an effort to accelerate the handling of COVID-19 in Banten, programs that have been carried out by AP II include distributing personal protective equipment (PPE), medicines, vitamins, basic necessities, ambulances, supporting residents' self-isolation, and participating in handling natural disaster locations. as has been done by the AP II Peduli volunteer team in Serang, Lebak, Tangerang City and Regency and South Tangerang City.
The company also cooperates with various parties, including PMI to carry out blood plasma donation in Tangerang in February 2021.
Acceleration of the COVID-19 vaccination program
Currently, the focus of AP II and other institutions is to support the acceleration of the COVID-19 vaccination program launched by the government.
AP II has opened vaccination centers at 18 airports since July 3, 2021, to support prospective airline passengers to comply with health protocols in accordance with the Circular of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force Number 15/2021 and the Circular Letter of the Minister of Transportation Number 53/2021.
The vaccination center is fully supported by the Ministry of Health, Health Service, Provincial Government, Regional Government, TNI/Polri, and other agencies to provide vaccinations for airplane passengers.
In total, the number of prospective airplane passengers who have undergone vaccination at 18 AP II airports has reached more than 50,000 prospective airplane passengers, of which the most at Soekarno-Hatta Airport are around 30,000 prospective airplane passengers.
“The vaccination center at AP II airport is to support health protocols in the aviation sector. In addition, we are also committed that this vaccination center will continue to operate permanently to assist the handling of COVID-19 and support the acceleration of the national vaccination program to achieve herd immunity in the midst of a pandemic, "explained Muhammad Awaluddin.
AP II has also collaborated several times with various parties to present vaccination centers for the general public, as was done at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, where a vaccination program has been held with the Indonesian Air Force and also with the Ministry of Health and Traveloka.
