Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 27 of 2021, among others, regulates restrictions on foreigners entering Indonesia or transiting in Indonesia, with the exception of holders of diplomatic visas and service visas; holders of diplomatic residence permits and official residence permits; holders of limited stay permits and permanent residence permits; aimed at health and humanity (receiving recommendations from ministries/agencies); the crew of the conveyance that comes with the conveyance.
Foreigners or foreign nationals (WNA) who are not included in the five classifications mentioned above are not allowed to enter the territory of Indonesia, and will be checked at the airport, precisely in the international arrival area by the Immigration Office.
In line with the enactment of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 27 of 2021, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights stated that foreign workers who previously came as part of a national strategic project or for reasons of family union could no longer enter Indonesia.
AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said this regulation had been conveyed to all company airports with international status.
"AP II airports with international status, including Soekarno-Hatta Airport, are aware of this regulation and have coordinated with stakeholders for the implementation of Permenkumham Number 27 of 2021. AP II together with stakeholders are trying to implement this regulation properly," explained Muhammad Awaluddin.
Meanwhile, passengers on international routes who have just landed at AP II airport, both foreigners who are included in the 5 classifications, as well as Indonesian citizens, must meet the health protocols that are in place, including showing the required RT-PCR test results and quarantine according to the procedures. .
"Almost all international flights in Indonesia, in the midst of this pandemic, were carried out at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. AP II together with stakeholders at Soekarno-Hatta Airport are in full coordination under the Air Task Force for COVID-19 Handling to carry out all procedures for the arrival of passengers on international routes, "said Muhammad Awaluddin.
Special procedures for domestic route passengers 19 - 25 July
AP II also reminded that currently the applicable domestic route flight provisions are in accordance with the Circular Letter of the Minister of Transportation Number 53 of 2021.
In accordance with SE Number 53 of 2021, airplane passengers who fly between airports in Java, from or to Java, and from or to airports in Bali, must show a vaccination card at least the first dose and a letter of RT-PCR results whose samples are taken a maximum of 2x24 hours before departure.

In addition, restrictions for prospective airplane passengers, including those under 18 years of age, are also excluded for travellers with urgent needs, namely patients with serious illnesses, pregnant women who are accompanied by 1 family member, the interests of childbirth who are accompanied by a maximum of 2 people, and non-carrier bodies COVID-19 with a maximum number of 5 people (showing a hospital referral letter or other certificate).
