The Eid al-Adha holiday period 19-25 July 2021 applies new conditions for airplane passengers penumpang
Jakarta - Welcoming Eid al-Adha 1442 Hijri on July 20, 2021 and as a form of concern and sharing kindness with others, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) today distributed 40 cows, each weighing around 400 kilograms.
The sacrifice of 40 cows is intended for poor people around 20 airports managed by AP II.
The sacrificial animal is slaughtered starting today, and the distribution of the sacrificial meat is carried out in accordance with the protocol set by the Ministry of Religion in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Alhamdulillah, AP II airports can carry out sacrifices this year as a form of gratitude and concern and various kindnesses for others," said President Director of AP II Muhammad Awaluddin.
Muhammad Awaluddin added, "We hope that this activity can be useful and helpful, as well as a momentum for all of us to be stronger in joining hands and supporting each other to face the COVID-19 pandemic," said AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin.
In the midst of the Eid al-Adha holiday, AP II airports also remind people to only travel by plane if it is urgent.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Transportation has released Circular Letter Number 53 of 2021, in connection with the stipulation of Circular Letter of the Head of the Task Force for Handling COVID-19 Number 15 of 2021 concerning Restrictions on Community Activities During the Eid Al Adha 1442 Hijri Holiday During the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In accordance with the SE of the Ministry of Transportation Number 53 of 2021, the provisions that must be fulfilled by prospective airplane passengers include:
- To/from Java and Bali must show a vaccination card at least the first dose and a PCR test result letter whose sample is taken a maximum of 2x24 hours before departure
- Other domestic route flights, must show the results of a PCR test whose sample is taken a maximum of 2x24 hours before departure or an antigen test whose sample is taken a maximum of 1x24 hours before departure
- Especially for the Eid al-Adha holiday on 19 - 25 July 2021, travel for ages 18 and under is limited to work activities in essential and critical sectors (must show STRP); then for urgent needs such as patients with serious illnesses, pregnant women with a maximum of 1 family companion, mutual interests with a maximum of 2 companions, and non-COVID-19 corpse carriers with a maximum of 5 people (showing a certificate).
Muhammad Awaluddin said all stakeholders at AP II airport were committed to implementing the provisions properly.
"We are committed to implementing the provisions of the SE Ministry of Transportation Number 53 of 2021, and conveying to the public to limit activity and every trip is only done if it is urgent," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
