AP II and stakeholders collaborate to carry out vaccinations for 31,350 people


Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) and stakeholders fully collaborate in supporting the acceleration of the national vaccination program launched by the government as an effort to create communal immunity (herd immunity) in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the company is very grateful for the support of various parties so that the vaccination program can be carried out at AP II airports properly.

“Various vaccination programs are run at AP II airport to support the acceleration of the national vaccination program. Apart from being carried out by AP II itself, there is also a vaccination program at AP II airport which is run with full collaboration and support from various stakeholders. This support from various stakeholders also accelerates the implementation or vaccination program at AP II airports to be stronger against COVID-19,"

"This of course makes us very grateful because all stakeholders at AP II airport can collaborate well, not only in the operational aspect of flights but also in the name of humanity to strengthen others through vaccination in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic," said Muhammad Awaluddin.

Muhammad Awaluddin said there were at least three vaccination programs within AP II, namely: First, the AP II vaccination program for the airport community (airport workers from all agencies/companies) since March 2021, where until the end of June 2021 around 16,000 people had been vaccinated in the airport. this program.

Second, the vaccination program is a collaboration between AP II, the Ministry of Health's Port Health Office (KKP Kemenkes) and airlines for prospective airplane passengers. This program was run on July 3 at Soekarno-Hatta Airport which was later also opened at 17 other airports.

Vaccination centers at AP II airports are not only to support the acceleration of the national vaccination program but also to ensure that prospective airplane passengers always comply with health protocols in the midst of the Java - Bali Emergency PPKM, where every traveler to/from Java and Bali must show a minimum vaccination card. the first dose and a PCR test whose samples were taken 2x24 hours before departure.

On 3 - 8 July 2021, vaccination centers at AP II airports have vaccinated around 8,350 people.

The third program is the Indonesian Air Force Vaccination Assault program at 5 AP II airports on 9-10 July 2021.

"The target [in the Indonesian Air Force Vaccination Assault program] is 7,000 vaccinations for the airport community," said Pangkoopsau I.

Pangkoopsau I continued, “The community, the airport community, prospective passengers should carry out vaccinations. Let's make the Vaccination Assault program a success towards a Healthy Indonesia, towards an Advanced Indonesia."

Total Vaccination in AP II environment
In line with various vaccination programs run jointly by AP II and stakeholders at the company's airports, it is estimated that by tomorrow the number of vaccinations within AP II will be given to at least 31,350 people.

AP II is always committed that every implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination program will comply with health protocols and be carried out professionally using digital media.

Muhammad Awaluddin said AP II together with stakeholders would try again to present various vaccination programs to support the acceleration of the national vaccination program.

Currently, AP II manages 20 airports, namely Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta), Kualanamu (Medan), Supadio (Pontianak), Minangkabau (Padang), Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Husein Sastranegara (Bandung), Sultan Iskandar Muda (Banda Aceh), Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjungpinang), Sultan Thaha (Jambi), Depati Amir (Pangkal Pinang), Silangit (North Tapanuli), Kertajati (Majalengka), Banyuwangi (Banyuwangi), Tjilik Riwut (Palangkaraya), Radin Inten II (Lampung), HAS Hanandjoeddin (Tanjung Pandan), Fatmawati Soekarno (Bengkulu), and General Soedirman (Purbalingga).
