Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) fully supports the acceleration of the vaccination program for the community to strengthen joint efforts to deal with COVID-19.
As is known, the government is accelerating the provision of vaccinations for the community. President Joko Widodo is targeting 1 million vaccinations per day, and by August 2021 he is targeting 2 million vaccinations per day.
As an effort to support the acceleration of the vaccination program, AP II in collaboration with the Soekarno-Hatta Class I Port Health Office (KKP) under the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders, will hold a COVID-19 Vaccination Festival in Banten Province at the Vaccination Center of Terminal 1A Soekarno Airport. -Hatta on 29-30 June 2021.
This activity is intended for all company workers/employees who are active in the Soekarno-Hatta Airport environment, or also known as the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Community.
AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said this activity was a very good form of collaboration between airport stakeholders, especially in facing the challenges of COVID-19 in the midst of this pandemic.
"AP II and the Ministry of Health's KKP collaborate to support the acceleration of the COVID-19 vaccination program. On June 29-30, the Terminal 1A Vaccination Center will hold a free vaccination program that can be participated by the entire Soekarno-Hatta Airport Community."
The Terminal 1A Vaccination Center has been opened since March 2021 to serve vaccines for public service officers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport and has so far vaccinated around 12,000 public service officers.
"Through this vaccination celebration, we want the entire Soekarno-Hatta Airport Community to carry out the COVID-19 vaccination program to be stronger in dealing with this pandemic. We hope that this activity will also support the efforts of the national aviation sector in fighting COVID-19 and creating herd immunity," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
Head of the Class I Ministry of Health KKP Soekarno-Hatta Darmawali Handoko said the implementation of the Banten Province COVID-19 Vaccination Festival was specifically for the first dose of vaccination.

It is estimated that a maximum of 2,000 people will participate in the vaccination in this activity. Survivors of COVID-19 must have been declared cured for 3 months to be vaccinated.
More extensive vaccination
Meanwhile, after the vaccination on 29-30 June 2021, the function of the Terminal 1A Vaccination Center was again expanded to serve vaccinations for families from the Soekarno-Hatta Airport community.

The operation of the Terminal 1A Vaccination Center which was carried out professionally was also appreciated by the Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin. When visiting in March 2021, the Minister of Health admired the vaccination center.
