The Air Task Force and AP II would like to thank the passengers who have undergone the procedure properly

Jakarta - The Air Task Force for Handling COVID-19 and PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) together with other relevant stakeholders established new procedures for the arrival of passengers from abroad at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

In this new procedure, there are 9 check points for international passengers to pass in processing arrivals.

Commander of the Air Task Force for COVID-19 Handling Colonel Tek Sunu Eko P said the new procedure was to tighten the implementation of health protocols, including the process to the quarantine location.

"All stakeholders are working together to ensure Soekarno-Hatta Airport can properly implement the procedures set out in the midst of a pandemic. We ask for community support, and thank the passengers who have carried out this procedure well, "said Colonel Tek Sunu Eko P.

Following are the check points for processing arrivals for international passengers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport:

The first check point, passengers who have just arrived fill in their personal data and flight data through the Hore V2 (Hotel Reservation Version 2) application in the International Arrival Area which is equipped with WiFi facilities. Passengers can also use kiosk machines to input data.

The second check point, passengers carry out health document checks carried out by officers of the Port Health Office of the Ministry of Health (KKP Kemenkes). In this process, it will also be determined whether quarantine can be carried out at the hotel or Pademangan Athletes' House.

The third check point, passengers will be recorded regarding the location of the quarantine, whether to the Pademangan Athlete Village or a hotel.

The fourth check point, passengers undergo the immigration process.

Fifth check point, passengers pick up their baggage at the Baggage Claim Area.

The sixth check point, passengers undergo the customs process.

Seventh check point, passengers register at the Hotel Help Desk for the quarantine process. At this location a barrier line is also installed.

The eighth check point, passengers again undergo personal identification data and quarantine locations carried out by Airport Police officers.

The ninth check point, the passenger is picked up by the bus to go to the quarantine location. The pick-up process is carried out with a single pick-up point concept to facilitate supervision. Buses that can pick up only those that have been designated.

PT Angkasa Pura II Director of Operation & Service Muhamad Wasid said the new procedure which took effect on the day would be ensured to run strictly.

"AP II as the operator of Soekarno-Hatta Airport supports all facilities to implement this new procedure, including providing HORE applications or Hotel Reservation for quarantine hotel selection. This new procedure is established without compromising the aspect of service to passengers. "

"We ask for public support so that this new procedure can run well at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, as part of a joint effort to implement health protocols in the midst of a pandemic. We thank the passengers who participated in carrying out this arrival procedure, "said Muhamad Wasid.

Command Post for Control and Supervision
Meanwhile, Executive General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Agus Haryadi, said that the Command Post for the Control and Supervision of Repatriation and the Arrival of Foreign and Indonesian Citizens from abroad was officially operated.

"Soekarno-Hatta Airport facilitates this post to specifically monitor 24 hours of arrival of passengers from abroad. We hope that this joint post can ensure that the procedure for the arrival of passengers from abroad is carried out properly, "said Agus Haryadi.

Apart from Soekarno-Hatta Airport, this post is also operated at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.

Through the new procedure for the arrival of aircraft passengers from abroad and the activation of the Control and Supervision Post and support from the entire community, it is hoped that compliance with health protocols, especially for passengers coming from abroad, can be better.

As is known, passengers from abroad must comply with health protocols such as showing a COVID-19 test result letter and quarantine in accordance with Circular Number 8 of 2021 concerning International Travel Health Protocol during the COVID-19 Pandemic and Number 9 of 2021 concerning Quarantine Places, Isolation and Obligations of RT-PCR for Indonesian Citizens International Travel Operators.

As for April 25, 2021, travelers from India are prohibited from entering Indonesia. Indonesian citizens who have lived or visited India within 14 days are allowed to enter Indonesia with strict health protocols, one of which is quarantine for 14 days.
