AP II's digital transformation is divided into two periods, namely Transformation 1.0 in 2016 - 2020 with the theme The Giant Dream 2020. In this period AP II was also able to apply the concept of a fully integrated smart airport at the company's airports.
Meanwhile in the next transformation program, namely Transformation 2.0 in 2020-2024 with the theme The Great Shift 2024, AP II's focus is to expand the business portfolio (Multi-sided portfolio ownership, apply global standard principles (global best practice), and build creative and creative human resources. innovative (innovative-based human capital).
"Airport development must lead to digitalization," said AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin.
AP II itself has now become a company that is digitally ready for operations and infrastructure or Digitally Ready for Operation and Infrastructure Development (DROID).
"The application of the DROID concept is supported by the existence of 3 digital platforms, known as the DROID Platform. The three platforms are the mobile application platform for travelers, then the iPerform mobile platform for internal, and Smart Airport Collaborative Decision Making [A-CDM] for stakeholders at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, ”said AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin.
Muhammad Awaluddin said that AP II always improves the three mobile platforms on an ongoing basis. One of the mobile platforms that are being developed intensively is an application for the traveler.
"Today, Monday 26 April 2021, we are officially rebranding by changing the INAirport logo and application name to travelin."
"Through this rebranding, we want to support the transportation and tourism ecosystem. This travelin application will present integrated services among all stakeholders to provide a seamless journey experience, "said Muhammad Awaluddin.
Furthermore, Muhammad Awaluddin said the travelin application was also prepared to later support the Tourism and Transportation Ecosystem Holding which consists of a number of stakeholders / BUMN in the sector.
In general, the Travelin application currently has features that are divided into 2 submenus, namely Before You Fly and While You Are Here.
The features contained in Before You Fly are: E-check in; Book Flight & Hotel; Transportation; Tourism; E-commerce; Payment Gateway for various bills such as telephone, electricity, water, multi, etc .; E-HAC; and Premium Services.
Meanwhile, the features available in While You Are Here are: Shop & Dine; WiFi; Emergency; News; Just link !; Airportainment; Hotel; and Premium Services.
Airport ID and facial recognition feature
The future feature that will be developed in the Travelin application is the Airport Single Identity (Airport ID) for travelers, airport visitors and airport staff / workers to access more easily and quickly various AP II airport services such as departure and arrival services, flight-related services , services in the 3T area [transportation, travel, tourism], to third party services such as hotels, public transportation and health.
Through Airport ID, AP II can get to know customers better with the Know Your Customer (KYC) concept to ensure a smooth process at the airport (seamless experience), improve security aspects, and provide more personalized services.
Chief Project Business Digital Airport AP II Wahyu Cahyadi said the company has big plans for the Travelin application.
One of the features that will be embedded in the Travelin application is facial recognition to find out the flight data of the account owner, as well as to process the relevant departures / arrivals.
