Latest news about PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero)
Jakarta - Digital platforms in the current era of technology have a vital role, including in the aviation sector.
Activities in the aviation sector involve quite a few stakeholders. For example at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, which is the largest airport in Indonesia, the stakeholders involved include: Airport Authority, Ministry of Transportation, airport operator (PT Angkasa Pura II); TNI / Polri; airlines; AirNav Indonesia; airplane passengers; Quarantine; Customs and Excises; Immigration; Port Health Office; Ground Handling; then added with land transportation operators; train operator; cargo warehouse operators; tenant tenants and so on.
President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Muhammad Awaluddin said the most effective way to improve coordination and collaboration among stakeholders at the airport is through digital platforms.
"Since 2016 we have carried out a digital transformation, and now have 3 digital platforms, namely the Indonesia Airports [INAirport] mobile platform for the public, then the iPerform mobile platform for internal use, and Smart Airport Collaborative Decision Making [A-CDM] for stakeholders at Soekarno-Airport. Hatta. "
"PT Angkasa Pura II since last year has also run the Digitally Ready for Operations and Infrastructure Development or DROID Platform program to synergize and collaborate the three digital platforms so that they can optimally support airport operations," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
The INAirport application, which can be downloaded on iOS and Android, has 11 features to provide a digital experience to create a smooth journey for travelers.
These features are e-check-in, hotel and airline ticket reservations, flight schedule information, commercial tenant information, ground transportation information, airport service information, emergency assistance information, Airportainment, tourist information, the latest news and e- commerce.
In line with the increasingly complete features of the INAirport application, the number of INAirport application users is increasing every year until now the number of INAirport application downloads has reached 490,000 times.
"Development continues to be carried out on the INAirport application. In the future, we plan that INAirport has features such as a navigation map in the terminal or indoor navigation module, then a chatbot-based service feature, then a live ground transportation schedule feature, signage translation, and a boarding scanner module. This development plan also requires collaboration with relevant stakeholders, "said Muhammad Awaluddin.
INAirport will also be used to support the application of Airport ID, which will be introduced by PT Angkasa Pura II in the near future.
Meanwhile, for the mobile platform for employees, PT Angkasa Pura II has the iPerform application whose functions are increasing every year. In the initial phase of use, iPerform was used to support daily employee activities such as administration and monitoring airport operations. And, in the last year the functionality of iPerform was improved to be able to see the income per day in real time.
"At the end of last year, PT Angkasa Pura II was able to monitor income on a daily basis or on a daily basis. We then synchronize this with the iPerform application so that employees can find out their daily income, as a basis for taking the right strategy in the future, ”explained Muhammad Awaluddin.
Every day the iPerform application is used by around 8,000 employees of PT Angkasa Pura II at the head office and 19 airports managed by the company.
As for increasing collaboration among stakeholders at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, PT Angkasa Pura II is preparing a Smart A-CDM dashboard which is accessed through the Airport Operation Command Center (AOCC) building.
The function of Smart A-CDM is as a forum for stakeholders including PT Angkasa Pura II, airlines, AirNav Indonesia and ground handling parties to share various data and information.
All flight activities can be monitored so that flight and airport operations can be optimized, starting from preparation for take off, then take off, and landing and after landing can run smoothly.
The Smart A-CDM platform is the key in realizing and maintaining the level of accuracy of flight schedules (on-time performance / OTP) at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, which serves 1,200 flights every day with 150,000 - 200,000 passengers during normal conditions, so that it has an impact on increasing service to airplane passengers.
