Soekarno-Hatta Airport Stakeholder Collaboration Against Syndicate Falsification of Covid-19 Test Results

18 Jan 2021

Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) appreciates and thanks the ranks of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police for dismantling the syndicate of forging COVID-19 test results. Today, Monday, January 18, 2021, the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police released the disclosure of the Case of Falsification of Medical Certificates as a Flight Condition by the Garuda Team of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police. In the press conference, Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Yusri Yunus said the disclosure of this case was also a collaboration between stakeholders of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, namely the Ministry of Transportation, Aviation Security Soekarno-Hatta Airport, the TNI, and other institutions. Kapolres Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Commissioner Alexander Yuriko said synergy needs to be done together with all stakeholders so that the incident of this letter forgery does not repeat itself. "Actually, the system is good, but people are always looking for opportunities. So that together we can work together, ”explained Commissioner Alexander Yuriko. Meanwhile, Soekarno-Hatta Airport Executive General Manager Agus Haryadi said AP II fully supports the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police in providing a sense of security to airplane passengers, which among them is resolved by eradicating fake letter syndicates from the COVID-19 test results. Agus Haryadi said that the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police were one of the elements that strengthened the security aspects at Soekarno-Hatta Airport to eradicate actions that could harm aircraft passengers and airport visitors. "By exposing the syndicate of forging COVID-19 test certificates, the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police, along with other stakeholders, have taken concrete actions to support the common goal of healthy flights at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. We really appreciate and thank the ranks of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police. -Hatta has exposed the existence of persons and syndicates of fake certificates. " "We condemn this falsification of the COVID-19 test letter. We also make sure that no AP II employee becomes unscrupulous or joins this syndicate, "said Agus Haryadi. Agus Haryadi said that the certificate of the COVID-19 test results must be owned by prospective aircraft passengers after actually carrying out the COVID-19 test at a health facility, and upon arrival at Soekarno-Hatta Airport the certificate will be validated by the Port Health Office of the Ministry of Health (KKP Kemenkes. ). Furthermore, said Agus Haryadi, AP II does not tolerate individuals who commit acts against the law such as offering, making, and giving fake COVID-19 test letters to prospective aircraft passengers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. "We invite all stakeholders at Soekarno-Hatta Airport to close ranks and raise awareness not to make room for fake COVID-19 test letters," said Agus Haryadi. Digital validation As part of an effort to increase awareness, currently AP II and the Ministry of Health are coordinating to massively implement a digital examination of the COVID-19 test result certificate through the eHAC application. Each prospective airplane passenger who tests for COVID-19 at a health facility registered with the Ministry of Health's eHAC will be able to digitally validate a test result certificate by the Ministry of Health's KKP to obtain a barcode. Then, the barcode can be shown directly at the check-in counters at the airport. Head of the Port Health Office of the Ministry of Health - Soekarno-Hatta Airport (KKP Kemenkes) Darmawali Handoko said the digital validation of the COVID-19 test result letter through eHAC will be carried out in full February 2021. In addition, Agus Haryadi said that currently AP II is also building an Airport ID system for airplane passengers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport to support the fulfillment of health protocols including those related to the requirements for the COVID-19 test. At Soekarno-Hatta Airport, there are currently 8 Airport Health Center points for COVID-19 tests, with 3 alternative services, namely Pre-order service, drive thru service, and walk-in service. A letter of the results of each COVID-19 test conducted at the Airport Health Center can also be sent to the eHAC application on the passenger's smartphone for validation by the Ministry of Health's KKP and obtain a barcode to be shown at the check-in counter. The number of locations for the COVID-19 test and the availability of various alternative services is expected to make it easier for potential passengers to meet the COVID-19 test requirements. AP II appealed to passengers to be careful of any fraudulent attempts related to the test result letter, then to refuse the practice of brokering that offers fake test result letters, and not to forge test results.
