Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) together with stakeholders are trying to support prospective aircraft passengers so that they can always meet health protocols in air travel.
One of the supports is to provide convenience in carrying out the COVID-19 test and also in validating the test result letter.
At Soekarno-Hatta Airport, which is the largest airport in Indonesia, there are already 8 Airport Health Center points to carry out a COVID-19 test, both a rapid antigen test and a PCR test.
In order to make it easier for prospective aircraft passengers, the results of the COVID-19 test conducted at the Airport Health Center at Soekarno-Hatta Airport can be sent directly to the Ministry of Health's electronic health alert card (eHAC) application.
Letters of test results conducted at other health facilities outside the airport can also be sent to eHAC, as long as the health facility is registered with the Ministry of Health.
The eHAC application is a must have for airplane passengers for monitoring trips in the middle of this pandemic.
"If the COVID-19 test result letter has been submitted to the eHAC, then validation is carried out by the Ministry of Health's KKP and aircraft passengers will receive a barcode so that they can be shown directly at the check-in counter officer who already holds the barcode reader," said VP of Corporate Communication. PT Angkasa Pura II Yado Yarismano.
Yado Yarismano added, "If you have validated the test result letter through eHAC, prospective aircraft passengers no longer need to queue to manually validate the test result letter conducted by the KKP Ministry of Health officers at the terminal."
Head of KKP Kemenkes Soekarno-Hatta Darmawali Handoko said the validation of the COVID-19 test certificate submitted to eHAC was carried out by the Ministry of Health's KKP officers at the Backend or automatically by entering the perimeter requirements.
"The validation was carried out by the Ministry of Health's KKP officers, and what is clear is that the letters of the COVID-19 test results that can be submitted to the eHAC application are those from registered health facilities," said Darmawali Handoko.
In full, the following is the flow of using eHAC to validate the certificate of the COVID-19 test results:
1. Prospective passengers register and choose FasKes on the eHAC application
2. Select FasKes inside the airport or outside the airport
3. Perform validation through the eHAC application
4. Prospective passengers will receive a QR Code in the eHAC application
5. Prospective passengers show the QR Code at the check-in counter, then at security check point 2 and then at the boarding gate
Yado Yarismano said, "Through this eHAC validation, prospective aircraft passengers no longer need to queue at the terminal to perform manual validation by the Ministry of Health's KKP officers. Just go straight to the check-in counter, so the departure process is short and hassle free, but still strictly adheres to health protocols. "
Follow the rules
On the other hand, PT Angkasa Pura II also asked prospective aircraft passengers to comply with applicable regulations in meeting the requirements for travel by plane in the midst of this pandemic.
In accordance with Circular Number 03/2020 issued by the COVID-19 Handling Task Force, every airplane passenger from and to Java must show a valid antigen rapid test result letter, and to Bali must show a valid PCR test result letter.
Yado Yarismano said PT Angkasa Pura II had made efforts to make it easier for prospective aircraft passengers to be able to carry out tests properly.
"At every airport that we manage, there is a COVID-19 test facility. Even at Soekarno-Hatta Airport there are 8 Airport Health Center points for the COVID-19 test, with three alternative services, namely ordering a schedule [pre-order], coming directly [walk in], or a drive thru. "
Head of the COVID-19 Handling Air Force Task Force Colonen Pas M.A Silaban (TNI AU) said that with the ease of carrying out the COVID-19 test, prospective passengers are urged to comply with health protocols and anticipate 3 things that are not justified.
"First, so that passengers do not falsify COVID-19 test results. Second, passengers must be aware of any fraudulent attempts related to test results. And third, passengers should not be tempted by brokering practices that offer fake test results, "said Colonel Pas M.A Silaban.
PT Angkasa Pura II supports and appreciates the Police for its success in exposing the practice of buying and selling fake COVID-19 test results. PT Angkasa Pura II also supports the Ministry of Health's KKP in validating the COVID-19 test result letter at each airport managed by the company.
