Muhammad Awaluddin added, "We have confirmed that the availability of COVID-19 test kits, especially the antigen rapid test, is sufficient. Procedures at the Airport Health Center are also ensured to be standard, and health protocols are well implemented in all airport areas. "

Muhammad Awaluddin said that flight traffic at all airports under PT Angkasa Pura II was monitored in real time in order to quickly anticipate in the field.

"The 2020/2021 Christmas and New Year Post as a coordinating forum for stakeholders at the airport is tasked with monitoring flight traffic and implementing health protocols at airports," said Muhammad Awaluddin.

Meanwhile, PT Angkasa Pura II airport which is busiest in welcoming aircraft passengers at the peak of the return flow is Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Today, January 3, 2021, the number of passenger movements at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is estimated to be around 80,000 people with 850 flights.

Soekarno-Hatta Airport Executive General Manager Agus Haryadi said that in order to expedite the arrival process at the peak of this backflow, it was advised for airplane passengers to install and fill out the eHAC application form at the airport of departure.

"At the peak of this return flow, it is estimated that Soekarno-Hatta Airport will serve 80,000 airplane passengers. We have prepared everything so that the departure and arrival processes run smoothly, for example by coordinating the location of aircraft parking, ground handling activities, the flow of passenger arrivals including those related to eHAC checks. Passengers are encouraged to fill out the eHAC form at the departure airport. "

In the midst of the 2020/2021 Nataru Transport period, Soekarno-Hatta Airport also applies the regulations from the COVID-19 Handling Task Force which are listed in the Addendum to Circular 03/2020 and Circular Letter 04/2020.

Based on SE No. 04/2020, every Indonesian citizen and foreigner arriving in Indonesia on December 28 - 31 2020 are required to quarantine for 5 days at a designated location.

Then, on January 1 - 14, 2021, the closure of the entry of foreigners from all countries to Indonesia will apply, except for foreigners who meet the exclusion criteria as stated in SE Number 04/2020 (holders of diplomatic visas and official visas related to official visits of foreign officials at ministerial level to Indonesia. above; holders of diplomatic residence permits and official residence permits; holders of KITAS and KITAP). For foreigners who are exempted and allowed to enter Indonesia, quarantine is also carried out for 5 days.

Meanwhile, Indonesian citizens who return to Indonesia from 28 December 2020 to 14 January 2021 must also do quarantine for 5 days after arriving in Indonesia.

Thus, the implementation of this quarantine is still in effect until January 14, 2021 for Indonesian citizens returning to Indonesia and also for foreigners who are exempted from closing entry to Indonesia.

Head of the COVID-19 Handling Air Task Force Colonel Pas M.A Silaban (TNI AU) said stakeholders at Soekarno-Hatta Airport would implement regulations related to this quarantine.

"The majority of passengers on international routes at Soekarno-Hatta Airport are 90-95% of Indonesian citizens returning to Indonesia, while only a small proportion of foreigners are foreigners. Indonesian citizens are allowed to enter Indonesia, while foreigners who are allowed to enter only meet the exemptions according to SE 04/2020. In the Nataru Transport period from 18 December 2020 - 2 January 2021 (D-7 to H + 1), aircraft movements at all PT Angkasa Pura II airports were recorded as 22,111 movements. Meanwhile, the movement of airplane passengers reached about 1.75 million people.

Especially at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on D-7 to H + 1, the number of aircraft movements is 12,590, and passenger movements are around 1.02 million people.

Muhammad Awaluddin said that in general the implementation of Nataru Transportation 2020/2021 was running smoothly at PT Angkasa Pura II airports.
