"We estimate the peak flow of homecoming before Christmas at PT Angkasa Pura II airport on 23-24 December. In line with that we ensure the readiness of personnel, infrastructure and implementation of various procedures including health protocols.

The Executive General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta Airport said that Soekarno-Hatta Airport is an anchor airport for domestic flights.
"The number of flights at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is around 56 percent of the total flights at all PT Angkasa Pura II airports. The increase in flights at Soekarno-Hatta Airport also means an increase in flights at other airports, therefore PT Angkasa Pura II is very focused on maintaining airport operations for the smooth running of flights in the Nataru 2020/2021 transport period, "said Agus Haryadi.
Today, December 24, is also estimated to be the peak of the homecoming flow ahead of Christmas with passengers over 80,000 with around 900 flights.
One of the efforts to maintain the smooth running of flights and support aircraft passengers to meet health protocols, especially regarding the COVID-19 test before flying, be it a rapid antigen test or PCR test, on this Nataru 2020/2021 Soekarno-Hatta Airport opened 8 Airport Health Center locations in partnership with Kimia Farma and Indofarma.
The location of the Airport Health Center is at:
1. Airport Health Center at T1 (Walk in service)
2. Airport Health Center at T2 (Skytrain Station - Walk in service)
3. Airport Health Center at T2 (Terminal 2D - Pre-order service)
4. Airport Health Center at T3 (SMMILE Center - Walk in service)
5. Airport Health Center at T3 (Umrah lounge area - Pre-order service)
6. Drive Thru tests in the T3 parking lot
7. Drive Thru test at the T2 parking lot
8. Drive Thru tests in the T1 parking lot
Prospective aircraft passengers can choose 3 alternative COVID-19 test services, namely pre-order service, test without getting out of the vehicle (drive thru service), and come directly to the location (walk in service).
The existence of 3 alternative services and 8 Airport Health Center locations makes the process and implementation of the COVID-19 test at the airport run well in realizing healthy flights.
Prospective passengers are still advised to do the test first at a health facility outside the airport. If you already have a COVID-19 test result letter, prospective passengers can arrive 2 hours before departure.
However, if you still want to do the test at the airport, you are advised to choose a walk-in service for a more scheduled test, and arrive 4 hours before departure.
"We are trying to always keep the implementation of the COVID-19 test going well to support healthy flights in the midst of a pandemic, so that the national aviation sector can continue to support community activities," said Agus Haryadi.
In total, from 15 - 22 December 2020, the Airport Health Center at PT Angkasa Pura II airports has carried out COVID-19 tests, both rapid antibody tests, rapid antigen tests and PCR tests on 43,831 people.
