In total there are 6 locations for the COVID-19 test at Soekarno-Hatta Airport
Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) together with stakeholders developed Airport Health Center services at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
This development was carried out following the high interest of prospective aircraft passengers to get COVID-19 test services at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in the last few days.
The service development being carried out is, starting December 21, 2020, prospective aircraft passengers have three alternatives to get COVID-19 test services at the Airport Health Center at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, be it for PCR tests, rapid antigen tests, or rapid antibody tests.
First alternative, prospective aircraft passengers can make a pre-order service to choose a test schedule at the Airport Health Center Terminal 2 (skytrain shelter) or Terminal 3 (Umrah lounge area). This pre-order is made through the Travelation application (https://travelation.angkasapura2.co.id) owned by PT Angkasa Pura II. This Travelation application is also connected to the Indonesia Airports (INAirport) application.
The second alternative, prospective aircraft passengers can perform a PCR test or rapid antigen test in the vehicle by drive thru (drive thru service) in three locations. The first location currently exists, namely the drive thru test in the domestic Terminal 3 parking area, then starting December 21, 2020 there will be a second location in the Terminal 1B parking area, and the third location in the Terminal 2D parking area.
Third alternative, prospective aircraft passengers can go directly to the Airport Health Center Terminal 3 (SMMILE Center) and Terminal 2 (Shelter Skytrain) to carry out a test (walk in service), as has been done at this time.
President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin said that the availability of these three alternatives aims to provide options for prospective aircraft passengers so they can plan for a better COVID-19 test, and also break down the buildup of potential passengers so that tests are not carried out simultaneously at one point.
"The number of prospective aircraft passengers conducting tests at the Airport Health Center Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 has experienced an increasing trend in the last few days, therefore we are developing services by providing three alternatives in the process of testing COVID-19 services at Soekarno-Hatta Airport."
These three alternatives can provide convenience or seamless process. Through the pre-order concept, prospective aircraft passengers can make advance reservations from anywhere, not having to go to the airport first. So, prospective passengers can adjust their arrival time to the airport according to the predetermined test schedule. "
"Drive thru tests are also available, so Soekarno-Hatta Airport has more alternative locations for the COVID-19 test. Thus, the concentration of the service area will be divided between the drive thru test area and the walk in test area, "explained Muhammad Awaluddin.
In line with the availability of this alternative, PT Angkasa Pura II can maintain flights from Soekarno-Hatta Airport to remain hassle free, stress free, and confusing free.
Meanwhile, PT Angkasa Pura II as the operator of Soekarno-Hatta Airport through the Airport Health Center seeks to support the realization of healthy flights, as well as support prospective aircraft passengers to be able to meet established health protocols.
The Airport Health Center is operated by PT Angkasa Pura II's partners, namely Farmalab and Kimia Farma Diagnostik.
