Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) together with stakeholders always strive to realize healthy flights amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
One of these efforts is being implemented by providing an Airport Health Center, which is a COVID-19 testing facility for airplane passengers.
In the early stages, the only testing service available at the Airport Health Center was a rapid antibody test, and in an effort to always ensure the realization of healthy flights, now there are more complete types of tests.
For example, the Airport Health Center Terminal 3 and Terminal 2 at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, which can now serve rapid antibody tests, rapid antigen tests, and PCR tests.
Even though the checking service is complete, PT Angkasa Pura II and the stakeholders in this case is Farmalab, continue to strive to always ensure that the complete testing service can always support the realization of healthy flights.
"The spirit of the Airport Health Center at PT Angkasa Pura II airport, including at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, is a service to make it easier for travelers to test COVID-19 in order to keep flights healthy. Currently, the complete COVID-19 testing service is available, and even so, we are still working to make these services support healthy flights, "said President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin.
In line with that, starting today Friday, 18 December 2020, tariff adjustments will be made for COVID-19 testing services at the Airport Health Center.
At PT Angkasa Pura II airports, such as Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Husein Sastranegara Airport, the PCR test rate is now IDR 800,000 for results 24 hours after inspection, from the previous rate of IDR 885,000. Meanwhile, the tariff for the rapid antigen test is IDR 200,000 for a result 15 minutes after the examination, from the previous rate of IDR 385,000. Meanwhile, the antibody rapid test is still Rp. 85,000.
"We, together with the Airport Health Center operator partner, namely Farmalab, are discussing various matters, including the supply of testing equipment so that rates can be lower," Muhammad Awaluddin explained.
PT Angkasa Pura II ensures that this lower COVID-19 test rate is also confirmed to remain valid during the Christmas and New Year 2020/2021 transportation period, although it is estimated that flights will be higher than normal days.
As for the 2020/2021 Nataru transportation monitoring period, which is December 18, 2020 to January 4, 2021, the number of additional flight requests submitted by airlines has reached 1,066 extra flights with an additional flight seat of around 133,000 seats.
