Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) is preparing to support the smooth running of the 2020/2021 Christmas and New Year transportation at 19 airports.

PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the company and its stakeholders would ensure smooth flights at all company airports.

“We coordinate closely with airlines in anticipation of the smooth transportation of Christmas and New Year. PT Angkasa Pura II as the airport manager ensures three things for airlines to anticipate if there are additional needs during Nataru transportation. "

"The three things are ensuring the availability of flight slot time for airlines, ensuring that airlines receive additional flight allocations [extra flights], and ensuring that there is an extension of operational hours at AP II airport if needed," said Muhammad Awaluddin.

The three things are a series to accommodate if there is a need for additional flights in the Nataru transport period.

“Slot time, extra flight and extension of airport operating hours can accommodate the needs of Nataru Transportation. The extension of airport operating hours can also divide flights so that they are not concentrated at certain hours so that physical distancing at the airport can be maintained, ”added Muhammad Awaluddin.
