PT Angkasa Pura II Airport runs Permenkumham 26/2020 for foreigners entering Indonesia
Jakarta - The movement of aircraft at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on the first day of the PSBB Transition, Monday, October 12, 2020, increased 5% compared to the previous day.
Based on livedata's observation from the Airport Operator Control Center (AOCC), the number of aircraft movements at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Monday, October 12 at 19.00 WIB reached 454 flights, while on Sunday October 11 at 19.00 WIB there were 430 flights.
President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Muhammad Awaluddin said this increasing trend was very rare because usually the number of flights on the first day of the week was lower than the end of the week.
“Sunday is a busy time at airports, where flight traffic is quite high. However, on the first day of the Jakarta Transitional PSBB, flight traffic on Monday was 5% higher than the previous day. "
"In total, the number of flights at PT Angkasa Pura II's 19 airports today is estimated to also increase by around 5%, one of which is triggered by the fairly busy flights at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, on the first day of this PSBB Transition," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
Muhammad Awaluddin said the increase in flights was in line with the increasing public trust in the national aviation sector.
Meanwhile, PT Angkasa Pura II and stakeholders at 19 airports are promoting a Safe Travel Campaign so that travelers still feel comfortable and safe when traveling by plane.
Permenkumham Number 26/2020
At present, all PT Angkasa Pura II airports are operating also with reference to a number of regulations including the most recent of which is the Minister of Law and Human Rights Regulation No.
Permenkumham Number 26/2020 regulates foreigners who can enter Indonesian territory.
Based on these regulations, foreigners holding valid and valid visa and / or residence permits can enter Indonesian territory through certain Immigration Checkpoints after fulfilling health protocols.
The visas and / or stay permits consist of: service visa, diplomatic visa, visit visa, limited stay visa, official stay permit, diplomatic stay permit, limited stay permit, and permanent stay permit.

The implementation of Permenkumham 26/2020 is one of the bases for implementing Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) in the Safe Travel Corridor program between Indonesia and Singapore which will be implemented in the near future. One of the doors in the RGL scheme is Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
