Jakarta - DKI Jakarta plans to reintroduce Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) starting September 14, 2020.

In line with that, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) ensures that the operations of Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Halim Perdanakusuma Airport are ready to support the implementation of the PSBB.

Meanwhile, when DKI Jakarta implemented the PSBB and now the Transitional PSBB, the two airports made a number of service and operational adjustments.

PT Angkasa Pura II Director of Operation and Service Muhamad Wasid said that currently the operations of the two airports refer to regulations that are in line with the PSBB.

"The regulations that were in effect when DKI Jakarta implemented the first PSBB, then continued the Transitional PSBB, among others, the Circular of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 Number 9/2020, Regulation of the Minister of Transportation No. PM 41/2020 and Circular of the Minister of Transportation Number SE 13/2020. "

"PT Angkasa Pura II and stakeholders maintain that airport operations including Soekarno-Hatta and Halim Perdanakusuma can prioritize health aspects and prevent the spread of COVID-19. The efforts we do with stakeholders can maintain a traveler's trust in traveling by plane, ”explained Muhamad Wasid.

In accordance with existing regulations, the following provisions are implemented by PT Angkasa Pura II to realize safe and healthy flights at Soekarno-Hatta and Halim Perdanakusuma Airports in the middle of the PSBB:
1. Activating the thermal scanner in the departure and arrival areas, and in collaboration with the Port Health Office of the Ministry of Health (KKP Kemenkes) to establish a temperature check line.
2. Establish physical distancing rules in each process, for example for queuing lines, boarding lounge seats, to toilet use
3. Activating checkpoint checkpoints for rapid test / PCR test results
4. Cooperating with the Ministry of Health's KKP to activate the Health Alert Card checkpoint checkpoint in the arrival area
5. Ensure that the terminal capacity meets the requirements of a maximum of 50% of busy time passengers, or can be increased supported by the use of technology
6. Require airport personnel to wear PPE such as masks and gloves
7. Together with stakeholders, prepare a quarantine protocol for aircraft if it is suspected that a passenger has been exposed to COVID-19
8. Together with stakeholders, prepare a handling protocol if a traveler or airport visitor is suspected of being exposed to COVID-19

9. Providing touchless facilities, various points for hand sanitizer dispensers, hand washing points, and conducting periodic disinfection in every area of ​​the airport, including using UV sterilizers and spraying disinfectant fluids
10. Working closely with stakeholders, preparing a rapid test facility at Soekarno-Hatta Airport
11. Ensure proper air circulation and air conditioning
12. Outreach and publish COVID-19 prevention measures
13. Ensure commercial tenants put forward efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19

Meanwhile, for travelers, this is what must be done at this time to travel at Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Halim Perdanakusuma during PSBB:
1. Must wear a mask at the airport and when flying by plane
2. Must apply physical distancing
3. Domestic route travelers are required to show personal identity such as KTP, flight tickets, and a letter of rapid test / PCR test results that are valid 14 days upon departure
4. Fill out an online health alert card (HAC) or paper form
5. Travelers arriving from overseas show the PCR Test result letter from the country of departure. If you do not bring the letter, a PCR test will be carried out on arrival and the person concerned will be quarantined while waiting for the test results to come out
6. A traveler will also go through a body temperature checkpoint, then a security check point (SCP) and make a report at the airline check-in desk

The airlines also pay attention to regulations by implementing, among others:
1. Ensure that prospective flight ticket buyers can fulfill the required medical documents
2. Verify medical documents / letters of rapid test results or PCR tests before the flight
3. Ensure the maximum number of passengers is 70% of the aircraft capacity
4. Ensure physical distancing in the baggage claim area
5. Perform disinfection in the aircraft cabin
6. Airline staff, including crew cabins, use PPE such as masks

Apart from Soekarno-Hatta and Halim Perdanakusuma Airports, this provision is also enforced at other PT Angkasa Pura II airports.
