"PT Angkasa Pura II officially lists sustainable bonds worth a total of Rp2.25 trillion on the IDX. This is something very good because it shows that investor confidence is still high in PT Angkasa Pura II amidst the pressure in the industry due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. "
"This bond listing is one of our efforts to carry out strict cash management in the midst of a pandemic, where we have to balance cash in and cash out in order to maintain the operations of 19 airports managed by PT Angkasa Pura II," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
PT Angkasa Pura II Director of Finance Dodit Wiweko Probojakti said the company will use the proceeds from the bond issuance to maintain operational expenditure / opex and strengthen capital expenditure (capex).
"This year we also made adjustments to our capital expenditures (Capex Disbursement), where capital expenditures are only allocated for multiyear projects and which are really significant, for example the planning for the design of Terminal 4 at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. This year is not an expansion year for us, but how to maintain company stability, ”explained Dodit.
Furthermore, Dodit said that the results from the issuance of this bond will allow the company to continue to make various preparations to face the challenges caused by COVID-19, as well as later be able to accommodate demand when flight traffic recovers.
Currently, all airports managed by PT Angkasa Pura II are still operating to maintain flight connectivity in Indonesia.
