AKHLAK becomes the Core Values of PT Angkasa Pura II
Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) on 13 August 2020 commemorated its 36th Anniversary with simplicity as a reflection of the calamity caused by the global pandemic COVID-19.
President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin said that the 36th Anniversary in the midst of this pandemic was a momentum for the company to be more enthusiastic in making breakthroughs and creating innovations.
"36 years of experience in managing airports is very beneficial for PT Angkasa Pura II in dealing with all situations. We have experienced favorable situations, and are now facing a very challenging situation due to the global pandemic COVID-19. "
"The momentum of the anniversary is an encouragement for PT Angkasa Pura II to look to the future, face this difficult situation, and develop the company into an Airport Enterprise Leader in the Region," explained Muhammad Awaluddin.
Furthermore, Muhammad Awaluddin said that the global COVID-19 pandemic was the most formidable challenge in the history of the aviation industry in the world, exceeding previous events such as the oil crisis in 1972-1973, the Iran - Iraq war in 1981 - 1982, the Middle East crisis in 1991-1992, 9/11, SARS in 2003-2004 and the financial crisis in 2008-2009.
As for facing the global COVID-19 pandemic, PT Angkasa Pura II has taken strategic policies to maintain the company's operations and business.
"We are currently in the Business Survival phase, which puts forward a savings program, namely Cost Leadership, so that in January - July 2020 we can save Rp1.4 trillion from the planned expenditure set at the beginning of the year."
"Other programs are the Capex Disbursement, which has succeeded in cutting capital expenditures this year to Rp712 billion, as well as the Cash Flow Management program which regulates strictly and in detail on Cash in / Cash Out," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
Muhammad Awaluddin said these programs were gradually able to guide PT Angkasa Pura II in dealing with the impact of the pandemic.
"In the performance of July 2020, the growth of air transport at PT Angkasa Pura II's 19 airports increased by 135%, and revenue and EBITDA have also improved."
Core Values Akhlak
On this day to coincide with its 36th anniversary, PT Angkasa Pura II also launched new core values, namely AKHLAK, an acronym for Amanah; Competent; Loyak; Adaptive; and Collaborative.
Along with the AKHLAK Core Values, PT Angkasa Pura II introduced the flagship program AP2 ACT or Angkasa Pura 2 Against Corruption Today which implements 4 No's namely No Bribery, No Kickback, No Gift and No Luxurious Hospitality.
AKHLAK itself is an effort by the Ministry of BUMN which is followed up by PT Angkasa Pura II to increase competitiveness to become a global player and talent factory.
"Thus, PT Angkasa Pura II's Corporate Culture Architecture consists of Basic Belief, namely Committed to Excellence, then Core Values, namely AKHLAK, and Key Behavior, namely Performing Delighted Services," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
