Jakarta - Welcoming the 75th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno-Hatta Airport together with commercial tenants is holding a promo program for travelers and airport visitors.

On 13-17 August 2020 commercial tenants at Soekarno-Hatta Airport will provide free masks or hand sanitizers to customers.

The total number of masks that are ready to be distributed to customers is 1,200 pcs, and the hand sanitizer is up to 5,000 pcs.

Another promo that is being held is a discount of IDR 36,000 for the rate of staying at the Capsule Hotel Digital Airport Hotel in Terminal 3 in the period 5 - 15 August 2020.

Then in the period 16-26 August 2020, the discounted price increased, namely a discount of IDR 75,000.

The free tumbler prize is given specifically for customers who check-in at the Digital Airport Hotel on August 13 and 17, 2020.

Executive General Manager Commercial Division of PT Angkasa Pura II Wayan Darma said the collaboration between PT Angkasa Pura II and commercial tenants aims to increase passenger experience at Soekarno-Hatta Airport while welcoming Indonesia's 75th anniversary.

"Our promo program adapts to the important needs of today's travelers, such as providing masks and hand sanitizers as well as a place to rest in capsule hotels in Terminal 3, of course, each unit in the hotel is managed by prioritizing health and hygiene aspects," explained Wayan Darma.

In addition to providing discounts to travelers to celebrate Indonesia's 75th Anniversary, Soekarno-Hatta Airport also prepares discounts for airlines.

On August 17, 2020, the airline gets a 17% discount on the rates for Landing, Placement, Aircraft Storage (PJP4U), then an 8% discount on the check-in counter rental rates, as well as a 45% discount on the use of aerobics.

"We hope that the PJP4U discount, check-in counter rental, and use of this jet bridge can ease the burden on airlines in the midst of this challenging period," explained Wayan Darma.

Empowerment of MSMEs
Meanwhile, in line with the theme of the 75th Indonesian Independence Day, PT Angkasa Pura II also immediately launched a program to empower MSMEs.

"We have prepared a program to optimize and accelerate MSME business growth and will soon be launched at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. This program to support the growth of MSMEs is in line with the theme of the 75th Indonesian Independence Day, namely Advanced Indonesia, "said Wayan Darma.

Soekarno-Hatta Airport is the largest airport in Indonesia, which in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic, applies a global standard health protocol in accordance with the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) as well as the International Airport Council (ACI).

The commitment of PT Angkasa Pura II and stakeholders in maintaining the current health protocol is also strengthened through the Safe Travel Campaign until September.

Meanwhile, flight traffic at Soekarno-Hatta has begun to recover amid this pandemic, where the flight time slot in July 2020 has reached around 32%.
