Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) built an Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) as part of the company's efforts to ensure good corporate governance (GCG).
The SMAP developed by PT Angkasa Pura II is in accordance with ISO 37001: 2016 standards to identify, prevent and evaluate the risk of bribery.
PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the implementation of the SMAP system was in accordance with the direction of the Ministry of SOEs and President Joko Widodo.
"The application of SMAP in accordance with ISO 37001 is in line with the directives of the SOE Ministry through the SOE Minister's Letter Number S-35 / MBU / 01/2020 and the SOE Minister's Secretary Letter Number S-17 / 2.MBU / 02/2020. The SOE Ministry's letter is to implement Presidential Regulation Number 54 Year 2018 concerning National Corruption Prevention Strategy.
"This SMAP system provides clear protocols in preventing, detecting and reporting if there are irregularities. So PT Angkasa Pura II can always implement GCG in every activity and business line, "said Muhammad Awaluddin.
The active SMAP system is also marked by the declaration and signing of the Anti-Bribery Commitment by the board of commissioners and directors of PT Angkasa Pura II on June 26, 2020.
"We hope that this system can support the overall performance of PT Angkasa Pura II so that the company can maintain the title as Industry Leader in the measurement of SOE's Superior Performance Assessment Criteria [KPKU]," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
As for the KPKU measurement that was held by the SOE Ekselen Forum last year, PT Angkasa Pura II won a score of 681.00 so it won the title of Industry Leader.
The KPKU measures the financial and non-financial aspects of each SOE of 114 companies. Not many SOEs have won the title of Industry Leader, based on their position as market leaders and also innovative trendsetters in the airport industry in Indonesia.
