Pancasila Birthday Becomes an Enthusiastic Maintaining Indonesian Air Connectivity in the Middle of the COVID-19 Pandemic

Jakarta - Stakeholders in all PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) airports jointly ensure that the airport continues to operate in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic with a number of adjustments according to regulations issued promoting health, security and safety protocols.

As you know, COVID-19 has been declared a pandemic since March 2020 by WHO. Then, the government released various regulations governing how airports and airlines could operate in the midst of a pandemic.

In addition to PT Angkasa Pura II as the airport operator, other stakeholders at the airport are the Ministry of Transportation Airport Authority, Ministry of Health Port Health Office (KKP Ministry of Health), TNI / Polri, Quarantine Center, Immigration, Customs and Excise, Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19, local government, airlines, groundhandling, etc.

All parties always coordinate, unite their vision and adjust their tasks for the sake of one goal: maintaining air connectivity in Indonesia to accelerate the handling of COVID-19.

"Stakeholders at the airport consist of various agencies that have different duties from each other, and we always increase synergy and collaboration and work together in strengthening unity for the purpose of maintaining Indonesia's air connectivity to accelerate the handling of COVID-19," said VP of Corporate Communications PT Angkasa Pura II Yado Yarismano.

Through stakeholder synergy in the midst of a pandemic, and taking into account existing regulations, a number of flights can be served at PT Angkasa Pura II airports such as repatriation flights that bring Indonesian citizens back to the country, then flights that carry aid, as well as the travel of people tasked with handling COVID-19 , and so forth.

"As for today, every June 1, we commemorate the birth of Pancasila and this is an encouragement for all of us to always unite for the progress of Indonesia," said Yado Yarismano.

The theme "Pancasila in Action Through Mutual Assistance Towards Advanced Indonesia" raised in this year's Commemoration of the Pancasila Birthday has become very relevant to the situation and conditions amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as stated by the Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat.

President Joko Widodo, in his mandate to commemorate the birth of Pancasila today, invites all Indonesian people to strengthen the ties of unity and brotherhood.
