PT Angkasa Pura II Strengthens the Availability of PPE and Medical Devices for Handling COVID-19 in Banten

Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) is committed to supporting the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.
 
On this day, Wednesday, April 15, 2020, PT Angkasa Pura II officially distributed personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical devices to Tangerang General Hospital, Serang District Hospital and Banten Provincial Government.
 
The assistance provided by the company is in the form of hand glove (160 boxes), hazmat (4,000 pcs), boots (108 pcs), thermal gun (20 pieces), surgical masks (280 boxes), wetkins (150 pieces), with the following details:
 
Tangerang General Hospital: Hand glove (40 boxes), hazmat (1,000 pcs), boots (36 pcs), thermal gun (5 pieces), surgical masks (80 boxes) and wetkins (50 pieces).
 
RSUD Serang: Hand glove (40 boxes), hazmat (1,000 pcs), boots (36 pcs), thermal gun (5 pieces), surgical masks (80 boxes) and wetkins (50 pieces).
 
Banten Provincial Government: Hand glove (80 boxes), hazmat (2,000 pcs), boots (36 pcs), thermal gun (5 pieces), surgical masks (120 boxes) and wetkins (50 pieces).
 
Banten Governor Wahidin Halim appreciated the assistance provided by PT Angkasa Pura II for handling COVID-19.
 
"I am very happy that PT Angkasa Pura II provided assistance. No matter how big / small the assistance is, what is important is called for humanity. There is a moral responsibility that indeed the co-19 crisis must be a concern, "said the Governor of Banten.
 
PT Angkasa Pura II's Director of Finance Wiweko Probojakti said the company hopes that the assistance provided can strengthen the availability of PPE and medical equipment in Banten.
 
"This COVID-19 pandemic presents a challenge for all of us, and we should unite to overcome it. Hopefully the PPE and medical equipment distributed today can meet the needs of handling COVID-19 in Banten. "
 
"We invite other parties to also be able to help to strengthen the availability of PPE and medical equipment in Banten, and other regions in Indonesia," explained Wiweko Probojakti.
 
PT Angkasa Pura II has also been established as the Coordinator of the BUMN National Disaster Task Force for the Banten region. In line with this, the company coordinates other SOEs in the Banten region to be able to assist in handling COVID-19.
 
"PT Angkasa Pura II is coordinating with various parties to carry out various programs in order to help deal with this pandemic," said Wiweko Probojakti.
 
As for helping to prevent and break the chain of distribution of COVID-19, PT Angkasa Pura II has now set the Minimum Operation status for Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten.
 
Through the Minimum Operation status, Soekarno-Hatta only opened services in Terminal 1A, Terminal 2D, Terminal 2E and Terminal 3. Meanwhile, Terminals 1B, 1C, and 2F were not operated.
 
Thus, passenger flow at the airport can be conditioned and personnel in the field can also apply work from home (work from home / WFH) so as to maintain physical distancing at Soekarno-Hatta
