PT Angkasa Pura II and KKP Run Health Alert Card Filling Procedures for Passengers of Domestic Routes

Jakarta - As an effort to overcome the spread of COVID-19, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) and the Port Health Office (KKP) are carrying out procedures for filling the Health Alert Card (HAC) by airplane passengers on domestic routes.

The filling of HAC by passengers on this domestic flight route is in accordance with the Indonesian Ministry of Health Letter Number: SR.03.04 / 3/3508/2020 dated March 23, 2020 concerning the Determination of Quarantine Status for Ships or Aircraft originating from Infected Areas in Indonesia.

Based on the Letter of the Director General of Civil Aviation number: AU.201 / 6/9 / DRJU.DKP.2020 dated March 30, 2020 concerning the Completion of Health Alert Card (HAC), the HAC card can be distributed at the departure airport at check-in so passengers can charging as soon as possible.

According to the letter from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transportation, PT Angkasa Pura II and KKP airports facilitate the distribution of HAC to domestic route passengers at the departure airport, as well as the reception of HAC at the destination airport.

PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the airports under the company consistently carried out the procedures set by the regulator in an effort to overcome the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

"PT Angkasa Pura II Airport together with KKP supports various efforts to overcome and detect the spread of COVID-19, one of which is through charging HAC by passengers on domestic routes."

"At PT Angkasa Pura II airports, including at the arrival terminal, special lanes have also been provided that pay attention to the application of physical distancing when passengers want to hand over HAC to KKP officers," Muhammd Awaluddin explained.

PT Angkasa Pura II currently manages 19 airports, and domestic route passengers from areas affected by COVID-19 are required to fill in the HAC then submit it to the KKP officers at the domestic arrival terminal except at Soekarno-Hatta (Tangerang) and Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta).

The KKP stated that there were no procedures for the transfer of HAC by passengers on domestic routes arriving at Soekarno-Hatta and Halim Perdanakusuma, because currently Jakarta and its surroundings are areas with the most cases of COVID-19.

"On the other hand, Soekarno-Hatta and Halim Perdanakusuma continue to distribute HAC to passengers aiming at other cities in Indonesia," Muhammad Awaluddin said.

The other 17 PT Angkasa Pura II airports have provided special lanes for domestic route passengers for charging and handing HAC to KKP officers.

The airports are Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Kualanamu (Deli Serdang), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta).

Then, in Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjung Pinang), Supadio (Pontianak), Banyuwangi, Radin Inten II (Lampung), Husein Sastranegara (Bandung), Depati Amir (Pangkalpinang), Sultan Thaha (Jambi), HAS Hanandjoeddin (Belitung), Tjilik Riwut (Palangkaraya) and Kertajati (Majalengka), Fatmawati Soekarno (Bengkulu), Sultan Iskandar Muda (Aceh) and Minangkabau (Padang).

HAC is one of the tools used by the government in controlling the risk of the spread of COVID-19. This card includes, among others, the history of the passenger's journey in the last 14 days, complaints related to current health, and other data.

Passengers will later hold this card, and if they seek treatment at a health facility then they will also submit the filled HAC.

Various other efforts have been carried out by PT Angkasa Pura II in the context of preventing the spread of COVID-19, such as measuring the body temperature of passengers on domestic routes.

In addition, spraying disinfectant liquid is routinely carried out in various areas at PT Angkasa Pura II airports, such as airplane passenger terminals, public areas, office areas, and other areas including passenger luggage.
