PT Angkasa Pura II Assistance for Umrah Congregation at the Airport

27 Feb 2020

Jakarta - Following up on the temporary suspension of the arrival of Umrah pilgrims to Saudi Arabia as an effort to prevent the spread of the Corona virus (COVID-19), PT Angkasa Pura II today intensively coordinated with airlines serving flights to Saudi Arabia.

PT Angkasa Pura II along with the airline provided assistance to the Umrah pilgrims who had arrived at the airport but were not departing.

On this day at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport there are 14 flight schedules carrying the Umrah pilgrims, where as many as 2 flights had departed.

PT Angkasa Pura II VP of Corporate Communications Yado Yarismano said there were Umrah pilgrims who had arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport but did not depart.

"To the pilgrims who had arrived at the airport, assistance was carried out so that the process of returning to their original places could run smoothly."

"The service and operations as well as flight schedules at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport are running normally," Yado Yarismano said.

PT Angkasa Pura II and related airlines will also provide assistance if there are pilgrims who have arrived at other airports managed by the company.

"To the Umrah pilgrims who have not arrived at the airport, we appeal to coordinate with travel agents to prepare everything," said Yado Yarismano.

PT Angkasa Pura II will always monitor developments and provide the latest information updates.
