Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) this year has again distributed prosthetic assistance to poor people in a number of regions in Indonesia.
This year, there will be 186 prosthetic limbs in Pandeglang, Medan, Bandung, Samarinda, Palangkaraya, Bogor, Majalengka, and East Java.
As for carrying out the prosthetic distribution program, Angkasa Pura II cooperates with the Kick Andy Foundation.
Finance Director of Angkasa Pura II Bayu Rafisukmawan said that this leg prosthetic assistance has been running for the past two years.
"This prosthetic leg assistance program has been run by Angkasa Pura II since 2017 until now, and we hope this can help people with disabilities."

On October 25, 2019, Angkasa Pura II held a Ceremonial Submission of the False Legs of the 2019 Community Development Program to 12 people with disabilities in West Kalimantan.
In addition to distributing prosthetic assistance, this year Angkasa Pura II with the Kick Andy Foundation also distributed free eye glasses and free cataract operations.
The number of free glasses distributed reached 1,080 which were all distributed in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan. Free cataract operations were also carried out entirely in Palangkaraya, with a total of 93 operations.
The total nominal of Community Development funds for assistance with prosthetic limbs, free eye glasses, and free cataract operations carried out by Angkasa Pura II this year is Rp1,082 billion.
