Latest news about PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero)
Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) informed that from 30 September to 5 October 2019 a number of commercial flights departing and arriving at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport were diverted to Soekarno-Hatta Airport during certain hours.
The coordination has been carried out by the stakeholders namely Angkasa Pura II, Indonesian Air Force, AirNav Indonesia and airlines so that the flight diversion went smoothly.
The diversion of commercial flights was carried out following a series of commemoration of the 74th Anniversary of the TNI at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.
Halim Perdanakusuma Airport Executive General Manager Nandang Sukarna said Angkasa Pura II already has procedures to support this so that flight services can still be operated through the nearest airport.
"Angkasa Pura II implements a multi-airport system policy so that the operations of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport can be supported by Soekarno-Hatta so that airlines can continue to operate flights to serve passengers."
"We have conveyed information regarding flight diversions and delays to service users and aircraft passengers. We apologize for the inconvenience caused, "explained Nandang Sukarna.
The scheduled commercial flights diverted from Halim Perdanakusuma to Soekarno-Hatta are operated by Batik Air and Citilink.
Angkasa Pura II appealed to aircraft passengers to pay attention to the latest information from the airline related to the flight switch from Halim Perdanakusuma to Soekarno-Hatta.
