Angkasa Pura II VP of Corporate Communications Yado Yarismano said that Angkasa Pura II airports are currently operating, but taking into account the safety factor, some flights have been canceled.
So far Lion Air Group has informed the cancellation of 20 flights, of which there are also flight routes at Angkasa Pura II airports located in Sumatra (Kualanamu, Jambi, Pekanbaru) and Kalimantan (Palangkaraya).
Yado Yarismano said that Angkasa Pura II personnel throughout the airport will prepare everything for the convenience of passengers at the terminal, especially for passengers affected by delays or flight cancellations due to smoke.
"Angkasa Pura II is intensely coordinating with related parties such as AirNav Indonesia, BMKG and airlines related to flight operations. The main factor is flight safety and security. The latest information will always be conveyed to the public and also passengers of the aircraft. "

In Sumatra, Angkasa Pura II manages Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport (Aceh), Kualanamu (Deli Serdang), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Minangkabau (Padang), Sultan Thaha (Jambi), Silangit (Siborong-borong) and Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang).
Meanwhile in Kalimantan, Angkasa Pura II manages Supadio Airport (Pontianak) and Tjilik Riwut (Palangkaraya). In Bangka Belitung, Angkasa Pura II manages Depati Amir Airport (Pangkal Pinang) and in the Riau Islands there is Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport (Tanjung Pinang).
