Muhammad Awaluddin said that service transformation was supported by, among others, the development of physical infrastructure and the application of information technology accompanied by an increase in human resources.

"The combination of infrastructure development, IT utilization, and increased human resources, makes AP II airports operate efficiently, effectively and has high service standards which are then recognized by aircraft passengers so that we have won an award from ACI."

"We always strive so that the airports managed by Angkasa Pura II can bring Indonesia's name to the global aviation industry. This ACI award also makes us more optimistic that Angkasa Pura II can realize the Go Global road map, "said Muhammad Awaluddin.

One airport that won an award from ACI is Silangit Airport, which won the Most Improved Airport in Asia-Pacific.

The award that was won by Silangit was not separated from the support of the government that was developing tourism in the Lake Toba region. The Silangit airport is the closest to the Lake Toba area.

President Joko Widodo also made several times to review Silangit Airport. The Head of State also inaugurated the new Silangit Airport terminal in November 2017.

"Silangit Airport is currently still being developed to support Lake Toba as one of the main tourist destinations in Indonesia," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
