Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) once again held the Student Know Your Archipelago activity to commemorate the 74th Indonesian Independence Day Dirgahayu.

Students Know Nusantara (SMN) itself aims to introduce the diversity of the richness of the archipelago such as culture, tradition, and natural beauty to high school students, vocational and special schools.

This activity took place on 12-23 August 2019, where as many as 27 high school and vocational high school students from Central Kalimantan were sent to exchange students to Palembang, South Sumatra.

Students who are selected to be SMN participants are the result of selection by the local Education Office.

Ph. SVP of Head of Corporate Secretary & Legal Achmad Rifai said the SMN program was part of the 2019 BUMN Present for the Country program.

"Through Student Know Your Archipelago activities, each student can learn new things at the location where they were sent. This is very positive, students from Central Kalimantan can learn new things about South Sumatra. "

"We hope that through this program the pride and love of the country can be nurtured from an early age, since they are in school," Achmad Rifai explained.
