Jakarta - Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is no longer just a place to get on and off passenger planes. More than that, Soekarno-Hatta has become a supporter of various traveler activities.
Various service innovations are available at Soekarno-Hatta such as iMATE Lounge (i-Millennial Airport Travel Experience Lounge), then AirSport Arena which provides online game play facilities, premium capsule hotels under the Digital Airport Hotel brand, to Heliport City.
Do not stop there, service innovation again increased by the presence of premium coworking space in Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
Coworking space by the name of APSPACE is the result of collaboration between PT Angkasa Pura Solusi (APS) which is a subsidiary of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), with Unionspace.
Ph. PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) SVP of Corporate Secretary Achmad Rifai said this premium coworking space is here to meet the demands of professionals who need work space at the airport to ensure business continues to run smoothly.
Achmad Rifai said that Angkasa Pura II is seriously working on this market so that it cooperates with Unionspace which already has a global reputation.
This collaboration with Unionspace, continued Achmad Rifai, is also one of Angkasa Pura II's commitments in achieving the Go Global target through partnerships with world-class companies.
"Unionspace has coworking space locations in various countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and in Singapore and China. We are sure that APSPACE will be very useful and meet the needs of travelers in Soekarno-Hatta. "
"Through the premium coworking space, Soekarno-Hatta which is the largest airport in Indonesia will be a model of how airports should be developed, taking into account the trends and needs of travelers and visitors alike. Soekarno-Hatta at the same time brought service standards at airports to a higher level, "explained Achmad Rifai.
APSPACE, which was designed with a minimalist and modern concept, aside from having a coworking space service, also provides various other services such as serviced offices, meeting rooms, event spaces, business lounges, high speed internet, to sleeping pods.
In addition, APSPACE is equipped with various advanced technologies to support the smooth running of customers in managing their business, while also increasing customer image towards business partners.
"Professionals can hold meetings or meet business partners in this premium coworking space before or after traveling by plane. The existence of APSpace can save the time of professionals, who are already very crowded, "explained Achmad Rifai.
Meanwhile, Commercial Director of PT Angkasa Pura Solusi Yundriati Erdani said that APSPACE's coworking space is one of the strategies in supporting the parent company, Angkasa Pura II, increasing revenue from noncore business.
"Angkasa Pura Solusi as a subsidiary of Angkasa Pura II is massively seeking various opportunities to increase revenue, so that the contribution of noncore business to the Angkasa Pura II Group can be maximized. One of the new business opportunities we are working on is managing the coworking space APSPACE in Terminal 3," said Yundriati Erdani.
Yundriati Erdani said that it did not rule out the possibility of Angkasa Pura Solutions opening similar coworking spaces at other Angkasa Pura II airports.
Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, which is the first location of APSPACE, is the most modern and grandest aircraft passenger terminal in Indonesia with a capacity of 25 million passengers per year.
